What Do I Buy? HELP

What should I get to help get rid of smell. Im in a 2 bedroom apartment growing kush in a 2'x3'x5' tent with a 190cfm fan/filter under a 400watt HPS. I have everything i need just havent set it all up yet. I have 2 mothers going at a friends with a bunch of clones rooting. Im totally sketched out about doing this grow already so i need to make sure no one smells a thing. Im worried the fan/filter isnt going to be enough.

I have found 4 products im considering buying. Ive actually already purchased the "Honeywell" and it should be here in a couple days.. i can always return it though. The 4 products are mere representations of ideas, if u have suggestions of better models, id appreciate the info thanks. One is an ozone generator, another has everything (ozone, UV, hepa, carbon), and the Honeywell is just an air purifier with a permanent hepa filter as well as a carbon prefilter u can choose to have and replace every 3 months, which i did. The last are just bamboo charcoal all natural air purifying bags that u just lay around your house, the largest size they have is a 500mg bag that covers 250sqft. They last 2 years and to reactivate them you just lay them in the sun for an hour every 30 days. Sounds like a wicked product even just for something extra to have as overkill.

All you need is a good exhaust fan with a good carbon filter.

The only limit's on a charcoal filter are Your Imagination,I build My Own..Walmart has activated Charcoal..

ya DIY is always awesome! I have a decent fan and filter combo already thats rated at 190cfm.if I dont get a solid answer I'll just grab all of it fuck it (minus the "all in one" model), then i'll have peace of mind and i can harvest to my hearts desire.

Buy a pet skunk, and blame IT for the smell.

I would stay away from ozone gen. Bad for lungs. If you could discretely exhaust the filtered air to the outside, not in a contained room, you'll be fine. Might be tough though, depends on layout of apt complex. Wish you luck! I would be nervous as hell with a tent in an apt too! I would only have the balls to do a micro-grow (2'x2'x17") with cfl's in an apt. Good luck!

ya if i had the ozone generator i would only have it on for 20minutes a day, that covers 1600 sqft. I might get some ona gel too if i here good results. cuz yes exactly i am shitting my pants. I can vent out of my masterbedroom window but it faces the sidewalk and street. the only other windows are the balcony door and the spare bedroom window which is on the balcony facing the parking lot... if the masterbedroom window is facing north then the balcony doors and sparebedroom window are facing east to paint a picture.

So it is very possible and ive been thinking of doing that all along im just not sure how to disguise it, and even then there would still be a stream of hot air being shown because it will be winter soon. So all in all i will probably grab up as much random shit as i can that gets rid of the smell, seel up the bedroom door and seel up the front door to the apartment. Then i will probably vent into my room still but with the window spread open and the exhaust ducting fairly close. Or mayb i will put one of those 2 way fans in my window that ppl always have to disguise it. We dont pay for heat here, so someone could mayb understand the excuse that its too hot in the apartment even tho its winter so we have the window open, I dono lol.

People smoke weed around here all the time, ive noticed that only being here a month now. the guy below us smokes a fatty to himself every night and it just stinks up everyones apartments that have their balcony doors open lol.. so clearly thats not the issue, i just dont wanna get caught growing the shit. I normally would say eff that to this situation but for some reason im kind of confident i can do this here. Long as i keep to myself, pay my bills on time and no one smells anything i should be fine. If i get fucked for some reason and someone needs to poke around the apartment i have a buddy who lives a block away that i can just run everything over to and setup need be, then bring it back.

I exhaust back into the room where my tent sits. No problem at all. No smell. I harvested yesterday and everything is hanging in there, you can walk into the room and it doesn't smell a bit.

AfgooCBD makes a good point, I would be wary of growing in someone else's property. You realize the landlord can enter your premises if there is a broken water line, or a fire, or any other emergency that may arise?
The real stink happens when drying. Do you have a separate place for that, or will you be doing it in the grow closet?

If there is a major emergency in the building then yes im aware they are aloud to do whatever they want, but if its not an emergency then they have to give me 24-48 hours notice. they are 12plex buildings that are all attached, 3 floors, im at the top. Ya i figured I would just let them hang dry in the tent with the light off but the fan and filter still running. This is my best bet, or I can hang them at my friends in his shed in his backyard (being winter, not likely a good idea), or i have a little 3'x3' shed that is on my balcony attached to the apartment kind of thing. We use it to blaze in and smoke in when its too cold. Dont want to be smoking in the apartment, we dont mind the vap inside though.

Yeah, I forgot about the Ona gel. I had a small container of Ona that fit perfectly in my 4" exhaust duct; good call Gibbs. Just get the large container of Ona and leave it open in the room. I like the two-way fan idea too. Great that you are on the 3rd floor, can leave the windows open. Depends on the filter and the strain, I guess. Peace!
