What do I have here? total noob first timer

It looks like this plant is starting to flower... there's little white hairs and some purple ones too all over it. I don't see any little ball sacks so am I to assume this is a female?

I don't even know what kind of seed it is, I bought an ounce of decent weed a long time ago and found about 3 seeds in the bag. I simply put it in a cup of water until it sprouted then threw it in a bucket of walmart potting soil and stuck it in the window.
It grew so tall I had to chop it down, it was like 4 feet tall and skinny.

And this is what it looks like now, I have never given it plant food or anything just filtered water, do I need to do anything or just let it keep doing its thing...?

man thats a great come up i would say jus let her keep doing her thing and she will return the favor. thats how mines is now she is 4 ft tall and all i give her is water. so good job man and keep it up.

I clipped a lower sapling branch off that has about 3 leaves on it, and stuck the base in a bottle of water... this will be a clone correct?

Wow, cant believe its been 2 months since I posted this... figured I'd post an update.

So, I guess this is at about 9 or so weeks of flowering:

Oh yeah and here's the clone 2 months later... I'm adding some extra light to try and extend her. That was from a little sapling that I snipped and put the base into water for about 2 weeks, then planted it.. that's it!

I've been sampling along the way, clipping little popcorns off...

Here's a 5 day old clipping that had about 50/50 clear to cloudy, no amber. Mild but zippy buzz after 5 days of drying:

This one I just clipped, it was a medium size bud with only a couple amber trichs:

This is the main big top bud which is the most mature that I can tell, but I think needs a few more days, maybe 1% amber:

I'm planning on cutting the entire plant in different phases of development until it gets to 50/50 amber to really see how it affects the highs... So, perhaps I'll have really stoney buds as well as zippy high buds?

So for a clone you just cut off one of the bottom branches and stuck it in bottled water for two weeks then put in dirt???? I think ill do the same!!!hut i have a little root magic powder... its some Mexican shit ill try that two!!!

Yep, here's the clone now, she's probably 3-4 weeks behind the mother plant in development I'd say. It took about 10 days before I saw a root grow, I re-planted it when the root was about an inch long.
