you know we all dream big.
I myself wont smoke more then a 1/4 a week.

Say i pulled in 20 oz -- that is way to much for me .

how do you store extra safely?

Make sure you cure it until it is bone dry, and then you can just keep it in a cool dry dark place. I've heard accounts of weed keeping for over a year. Just keep two eyes out for mold, that will destroy your harvest.
Or, you could always just send it to me =)

Either give it away to friends, or just save it. Bake a cake / brownies / cupcakes. Get creative bro. Weed isnt only for smoking :D. Invite friends over for free smoke sessions. You'll gain a +reputation in their books hahahaha.

I'd probably make a bunch of oil if I had too much. Not sure how long it lasts, but probably longer than the bud itself.

Right, there is no such thing as too much weed, store it in glass canning jars. Or just sling it and make some money...

After cured correctly, you can put it in a freezer. Will last forever over year easy. Best way is to vacuum pack it and then freeze, no air the best. Also if you have a humidity free freezer works well.

i dont get why people put bud in the freezer. Now I know its in Ed's books and stuff. But that makes you lose a lot of trichs that way. Think about it, thats how you make hash. Ice and icewater.

Makes sense right? Or am i just missing something? Plus, someone gave me some bud to try that they grew and they kept it in the freezer. It was okay, not that good (prob grower) but it was real dry and crispy

...Because when you want hash trichs are REALLY BAD?.....no... its the opposite. The promotes the trichs. I could see how freezing bud would be nice, BUT you have to have it in a 100% water proof and air proof container.. otherwise the dreaded MOLD!!

Yes, cold water extraction can be used to make hash, but there is a lot of mixing involved to get the Trichs off the leaves. When storing the product, if you carefully pack it in vacuum packaging some will come off, just don't Mix it up in the bag. Should be just fine.

Quick question here... In oone of Jorge's viedos he said he got 10 g of hash outta 100g of trim. Anyone know about what the ratio is when buds are used for hash?

if i were to grow ever, one thing is for sure, there is no thing as too much.. any excess i would put in jars after curing and put em in the freezer or fridge. buds keep a long ass time in a freezer.. just be sure to take em out a day b4 you want to smoke em because they are very brittle straight out of the feezer. after they warm up, they smoke fantastically! i used to freezer store when i would buy my stash in bulk.. kept things fresh until it was smokey time.
