So have had a couple opinions on this from my circle of friends that share this hobby. What do you consider your first day of flowering?

When you switch to 12/12?

When you see pistils?

When you see preflowers?

When you see the firstt real flower?

If a plant is mature it will start to flower much faster than a immature plant put straight into 12/12.

So........... I count flowering from when flowers occur and not from the switch to 12/12

perhaps. but then you had better adjust your flowering time by adding 2 weeks.
i consider the time between the time switch and the first pistils 'transition time'.
the time where the plant is undegoing a hormonal change.

12/12, not the appearance of pre-flowers as some suggest.

Pre-flowers are only the confirmation of sexual maturity.

Awesome, Thanks for Clarifying bro; I have a vegetating female 18/6 for 3 months now, and I saw preflowers a month or so ago. Nobody can possibly say that she is flowering just b/c her preflowers are showing.
