just wondering what everyone does with their resin? smoke it or what? I use to smoke mine when i first started smoking now i just throw it out because i hate the taste. Can you purify it somehow to hash of some sort?
what do you do with your resin?

I smoke mine, but that's only because I don't have much money for cheeba, and when I run out, I'm generally out for 2-3 weeks at a time. Personally, I think some of the better tasting resin comes out of bongs and waterpipes, and some of the more potent resin comes from dry pipes. As far as the purification, I see no reason that you couldn't try and do a butane hash-oil extraction, though it would probably take a ton of resin and wouldn't be productive in any reasonable time frame. But I guess if you have 10-15 pipes that get used regularly, it could work out in your favor.
On second thought, the resin would have to be heated first to fluidize it, which would defeat the purpose of the BHO tube, as the resin would just exit out the same hole as the hash oil. Ok, that said, I would just keep collecting it until it's a big fat black ball, and freeze it to break chunks off to smoke in my down time.

you must have a drawer full of pipes or not smoke that much because I have to clean mine all the time...they seem to taste, work, and even get you more high when there clean. hmm i wonder what would happen if you vaporized it!? hells ya thats what im trying next...or what made butter out of it or cooking oil hmm..? and geez 2-3 weeks without... you need a better hook up captian pointless or space your stuff out more

Had a pipe full of resin. I litterally let the bowl fill with resin till I could only put pinky sized buds in then I stuffed it in the microwave for 5 mins. Bout 2 mins into the nuke process it started smoking then I opened the door and sucked in as much as I could. Just did that a couple times till it was cash then viola and clean resinless bowl. Nota big fan of resin smoking though. Did it only to see how it would work in the nuke. Would have just been tossed into the garbage otherwise.

lmfao! nuked it thats the shit! gotta love experimental people sometimes I just hit the bowel dry so that I can make a path for the smoke but yeah that shit is NASTY and like i said i usually throw it out. but I feel like im wasting thc and money or something that could get me high...I just f-ing hate the taste..makes me gag, lol

hell ya FDD how much did you have to invest in that to start that. My wife wants to do that I told her it would cost to much to start up and kinda feel like she would prob hurt herself.. lol
cost me about 2 grand to get set up properly. i have since made all that back.

Well budy there is one way to get a huge high from your resin. Go down to your local drug store and ask for isopropyl99.9% not the shitty 70%, take it home grab a tupperware container poor some in it throw your dirty pipes in it. Seal. Shake. untill they are clean again.
Take a pop bottle cut it in half and use the end you put your mouth on.
Get a coffe filter, set it in their and poor the black isopropyl mixture you have onto a plate. Now cook this on the stove on low-med heat. You have to be very careful and have a window open... there will be fumes.
Use oven mits you wiill have to pick the plate up and move it around you will see the mixture bubble we do not want it to bubble to much... or it will start on fire...
We do this until the isopropyl has evaporated and you have a black sticky substance on your plate.... OIL!! this shit tastes better and it gets you 20x higher then res.
You will have hoots for a month when your out of the green my friend.. this is the best way to smoke that resin.

its been atleast 20years sencei smoke resin. i have the resin from thedast few times i cleaned my pipe supened in rubbing acohol(reminds me i need to clean my pipe again.)resin wasen't a very good high but it would do in a pinch. use to strain bong water through a cofee filter then let it dry out till smokable. mostly ashes but small amounts of unburnt bud(yippy they are cleaning the snow off the streets). better high then resin. its time for a bowlA lot of it goes down the drain, sometimes give it to people who think it's cool...but personallyBut if I was out I would smoke it...it has been like 6 years since I was forced to smoke that nasty crap!
