The KS5000 is a sleek, powerful 4×4 light with a very large footprint that provides strong, even full-cycle coverage. Its 6 light bars each sport 204 Samsung LM301H 3000K/5000K diodes and 6 Osram 660nm reds. Its Sosen driver is rated for 500 watts and is dimmable via a knob on the driver, or through an external controller, and is capable of daisy-chaining additional lights for unified control. It’s hinged in the middle, allowing you to fold it up and move it easily, and takes under 10 minutes to assemble since all the bars are permanently attached to the frame.

ViparSpectra suggests a hang height of 16″ at 100% power for flowering a 4×4 and our results suggest 16″ is indeed your best bet. They recommend a height of 30″ at 50% power for seedlings and 28″ at 75% for veg.

I'd test it and hang it based on my own par readings, it's hard to take manufacture specs to heart when you all test in tents and I grow in full rooms, the results are not the same.
