Fan leaves you mean?

Please understand that it's the leaves that convert the light into energy (photosynthesis), NOT the buds. There is no benefit whatsoever if the buds get any light directly. It's literally all in the leaves.

By removing healthy fan leaves, you are removing the plant's ability to generate the energy it needs to grow out the buds. Removing fan leaves literally slows and inhibits growth.

I said the odd leaf I don't go striping my plant as I know the leave is what takes in energy but if it's blocking a top bud site I will remove it.

As well as anything under the canopy that's going to grow fluff.
I dont have experience with many sativa leaning strains. Your pics look on point for the ones i have seen here.
For what its worth, yours don't appear to be heavily pruned and look pretty damn healthy

Thanks boatguy much appreciated I'm also a boat "guy" lol family owns marina in Ontario I have a fish boat and the family has 39 foot fountain.

Looks healthy af! My local strain is sativa and that's pretty much how the grow. They are more branched out and spaced unlike hybrids or Indica. My friend had grown some of the local strain nd one of them was like 12ft tall, I was like O_O. (Outdoors)

I also started a grow journal for the outdoor season I plan on planting two month old plants into 15 gallon smarts pot as well as countersink the smart pots into the ground. I have seedlings sprouted and growing under t5 for now until there ready to go out will add a link .
