Just curious if i could pick the brain of some more experienced growers. I got a lady little over 2 weeks into flower. I didn't do much trimming during the veg phase so i got a lot of growth. I want to know what your opinions are on cutting the lower stems. Do you cut all the lower stuff so only the top say 3 nodes are left or should i leave the lower ones on. I know they will not be the best bud but i can always turn that into hash or wax. Or does it take away from the quality of the top bud by leaving them on. The plant is in a DWC 16 gallon tote with sensi nutes.

On indoor grows I train the plant to maximize its exposure to the lamps footprint. You'll get the best flower formation under the most intense area of illumination so try to get as many colas forming in that area as possible. I will remove all lower growth and stems that aren't showing much promise. I find that it's better to use the plants resources on better flower.
I also try to do a heavy leaf strip at 3 weeks into flower, I find it promotes flower development and airflow through the plant.

I wouldn't trim anything you're pointing out. I never trim a single leaf. But that's the way I grow. I still end up with huge cola's and everything else I just strip off and use for dry ice hash.

It's above the screen...Keep it.

To be sure,,,,,,Trim one plant and don't trim another

Run finish's - Compare results - Go with the best result...

Question is forever solved in your mind, that way.......

Have fun

I trim everything but the top few nodes on every plant. When I used netting, as a rule of thumb, if it didn’t reach the net, it was gone.

In a week you won’t even be able to tell you trimmed them up.

I lollipop eachgrow and believe it helps but I haven’t done any official studies or anything.

In my experience all the stuff way under the canopy is super airy. I used it for weed brownies
