Sorry ... some of each actually. I was once on massive prescribed opiates, and my stock ribtickler from that era was "I'm not an addict ... it's a deficiency!" cn

100% behind ya... been on 22 years of this crap from 800 mg of IB to injections...
never felt better and never felt I had more control over my life since I started to use MMJ..

I started growing mainly because of glaucoma, but found that my general disposition improved. I also enjoy getting high. You can't beat it for increasing sexual arousal, it works well for my needs.

I am mostly a recreational user, but I have found that it helps with my slightly bi polar mood swings. And as most of us know, it works wonders for insomnia.

Insomnia, caused by narcolepsy, which also causes EDS. curing the insomnia makes the EDS a lot more manageable. sleeping pills defeat the purpose if i'm groggy later

I medicate 2 things really. First i have some stomach issues from drinking too much or eating too much spicy food. Had a hiatal(spelling?) hernia, where my stomach was pushing into my esophagus, and some ulcer type spots. either way it helps a lot for that. Otherwise, i got anxiety like a mofo! I leave 45 minutes early for a meeting 8 blocks away, and i still race there on my motorcycle. I walk too damn fast too, like im in a hurry always.

If im not high, theres no damn way im stopping to smell the roses.

Has anyone noticed that it helps allergies.-? I found this out by accident. Sometimes of the year when I drink alcohol, I get an allergic reaction and my nose and sinuses fill up and sometimes I start sneezing. If I take a toke, it clears up completely after a few minutes. It's really amazing.

I tend to get the reverse effect. I've had respiratory allergies ("hay fever" and lately a lot of deeper asthma) all my life, and weed sure doesn't help. I've switched to concentrates, and that's essentially neutral - neither harms nor helps. cn

Interesting how it affects people differently.

i find it helps with my congestion if i clear a bong, but aggravates my lungs if a vaporize or smoke from a spoon

but i don't use a volcano or anything. just a digital whip vape. the hot and dry air just murders my lungs if i go above 260F
