With alibaba it's all about your trust in the vendor. I'd only go with vendors that the other guys here have already dealt with successfully. Good luck!

Well to be honest i own now 2 of these 240W strips and damn it seems to really nail my plants..
I had 2 expensive blurples before and growed some years ago .. now i can't believe how well my plants are thriving under these setup.

tbh i have grown with very shitty leds, no-name diodes and they grow weed too and light and light quality is only one factor if you have a specific amount you want to grow and it only becomes the limiting factor if everything else is dialed in perfectly. my 2 cents even no-name or knockoff leds grow weed well and if you’re satisfied with them already why not go with it.

I hope to grow some quallity bud at least at 1G/w so i can pull half a KIlo . At this point i got 6 plants in a 4x4x8 with a 15L autopot system for 4 plants 2 plants are hand waterd. I use biotabs this time with organic soil and dont ph my water. Since that was a pain in the ass before only got a little bit nute burn . I"l try posting some pics later

i pull half a kilo under these and my limiting factor is humidity control. 450w of cxb1830s. half a kilo under 500w shouldn’t be that hard

Do you know much about the fixture, like what to expect? Looks like a good deal.
Those Diy's look good , i was first getting a diy but then orderd these from ali instead. Build quality is decent fans arent load just the dimmer is a bit sketchy but i can easly replace that. With my phone's lux meter i get between the 50.000 and 90.000 lux on 20 inch. I hope i can ever grow a kilo a half i would never need to buy street garbage anymore

Most phone luxmeter apps are extremely inaccurate
Inaccurate is better than none , also if you compare them they are pretty much the same .
I tested a samsung galaxy note 8 an huawei p30
And an lg v40 there was a differance of 5% between those phones. I can measure even with my note 8 the r g b w values seperatly so i know its not like a real lux meter but its an indication. My old blurpie never got so much lux (wich is also pointless in measuring since blurpies are more inacurate on lux meters) so yeah i know what u mean but dont do as they are useless. Better some measurement than none .

I read on RIU, every time you hear a crackle, it's a burning bug.

Which model spectrum are you going with and how can you tell the difference (in the link)?

The footprint of the smallest fixture is 20" x 4"

How many of these (the smaller fixture) would you fit into a 60" x 60" tent?

Sure, im just saying because incorrect readings can lead to incorrect decisions...

If you see that chart i posted, it shows that above 2000 lux (~50 pffd) the margin of error in most of this apps is more then 80%.
