i think it was outside too early and started to flower prematurely. it may have time to reveg and then flower properly in the fall, but it'll never be a big plant, once they start to flower, they don't grow a lot more, even after revegging

whatever the reason, it started to flower way too early, i would have let it get twice that size before i started flowering, even if i had limited space, i would have lst'ed the shit out of it before i let it flower

that looks like a mostly sativa, i'd say you probly have at least a month to go, the lower buds will fill in some, but never get like the top ones

Assuming that the tropical island u live on is near the equator (as most tropical places are) your day light schedual is almost ALWAYS 12/12 with very little change in seasonal light. That said any plant you grow has mininal veg time and will pretty much flower from seed, which is what your plant looks like it did.
With that your plant will still yeild its just going to be small. No biggie tho just have fun with it!

so in the future, i'd pick up a few t5ho lights, veg inside till they're a nice size, then put them out and they'll start to flower right away

If you can get in trouble for growing where you are and are not legal, I would toss this plant. It's a waste.
Or if you really want to save the genetics for some reason, I would veg it under a light for 24/7 to get it to go back in to veg. If you just leave it to flower, I would trim the very bottom tiny nodes off and bend the plant over so the node under the main is above the main top and trick plant to grow a few top nugs instead of one and some fluff.
