Not sure if the pics are posted right but day 10 flowering, what do you think... read elsewhere that these things are bushy as h*** and sure enough they dont dissapoint... now the fan leaves are the branches growing horizontal correct? I cut a few of the lowers to allow more light into the center and well it loves becoming more and more bushy as you can see ... oh its on the GH series right now, nothing else.. sorry havent posted before now or did a journal but wanted to maintain a low profile since not a MMJ state.

oh and forgot to mention they are feminized but still unsure if they are hermies or anything yet.. will hopefully get better macro pics in future for help

Leave the fan leaves will stunt growth an they are needed right now they look squat an fat an should quadruple in size if not triple you might need a bettter light source if you want to tie a pice of string gently around the top an tape the oter end of the string to the pot bowin the to an letting the side shoots catch up bend it like a fishing rod PEACE

Tie a peice of string around the top an tape the other end to the side of the pot an bow the top right over this will allow the side shoots to catch up an get nice an big do it once with the side shoots too this will help with height an weight PEACE

I should have posted a week ago or something, i believe my plants are way too thick to start this now, every journal i read of the bj i didnt see anyone do this but they were prolly using more light power than i am, currently the ag lights + 150 watt cfl on the side, staying inexpensive since wedding soon and then after my girl is going to get me a ufo for next time and i will def be doing this... They are soo compact that it has to be on like node 10 or so at least. Will get better idea tomm during light hours

Just let the babies go then but a 400 watt hps is what you need leds are still in the development stage need suplmentation with them in order to work ie t5 floros with led I bet with a 400 watt bulb with the nodes so tight you would get 6 to 7 ounces off of those babies. if you are realy interested in leds check out www.advancedledlights.com seem to be at the forefront of the technology

Heres my attempt at LST'ing them like suggested, as you can see in the pics stem is pretty thick so they are not bending very far but figured maybe i can still move it a little each day. Now will this slow down my flower cycle since im already on 12/12??? Also they are not yellow at all, in person they just appear that way on some of the pics due to vicinity of lighting and poor camera, using iphone. Anyways let me know what you thinkl and if its even possible on these pics can anyone confirm any sexes? Both were fem seeds but i heard that half the time from nirvana they end up being hermies.

thanks Indy, we are a young family so im trying to watch the electric bill budget and figured hps would run it up too much. Is that a true statement, do you see a considerable jump in the bill between running the big lights and not? But I will def check out the link, just have a hydro shop nearby that has the ufo with triple fans in its hood and i saw a thread or two where it looked like they really took off under them, but i have time, this is my practice run, then after i get back from my honeymoon in october i will try to make any and all neccesary tweaks that i learned through this process.

Here are finally the higher def pics of the girls, first pic is showing the one of the left and my first attempt at LST, it bent better than the one on the right. Also I put in some macros shots of some of the branches hoping to find help ensuring that they are indeed females and hopefully not hermies as i heard is highly possible. I appreciate any help and comments that you have.

I see no signs of sex. Give it a few more days and keep your eyes out for the white hairs. Maybe try getting a macro or two of the main stem at the top (crown) and around the 4-6th node, More than likely I will have an answer for you then.

Alright hopefully these are better of the top and main stem, as you can see nodes 4 - 6 are pretty tightly bunched and makes it difficult to get the cam in there haha, but hope these help. I mean they should be female since they were feminized seeds but just trying to make sure since havent seen any white hairs yet and i had a bagseed plant that barely got more than three nodes, stretched out like hell yet it has a bunch of hairs, lol, of course thatd be my luck,

if they need to be closer i will have to play more, camera just doesnt want to autofocus when soo close, likes to pick out things in background or stuff to make it hard

How long have they been under 12/12?

They still seem to be a little early to be showing..

Mine usually pop hairs once the crown has formed a little more than yours.

Keep an eye near the bottom of the crown, thats where mine usually show first if they aren't sexually mature yet.

If they are mature, they usually show first somewhere around nodes 4-6/8

They will come in close to the stipules, but behind them.

By the way, nice tight node spacing +rep

edit: oops, just looked back and seen how far in they were. Its a bitch to wait sometimes but they should be showing within the next few days
