If someone wants to change the law they can introduce a bill and it will go through normal, legal channels. This president is lawless and has told ICE and the border patrol to stand down. That is against the law. I have a hard time believing he is still in office. Some of you are all RA RA now, but what happens now that we have set a precedent that the president doesn't have to answer to anyone and we get a new president that starts enforcing new policies that you don't like? Who's going to help you then?

I`m not familiar with the States laws back then. They could have been totally different than the one`s in effect today.

We do help central America. I deployed there when I was in the military. We help train their military and help with counter drug ops. But that kinda stuff doesn't get the attention like invading iraq did.
