Hey guys -
what exhaust fan would i need for a 2x2 tent with 600w TS Mars Hydro LED.
Was thinking just a cheap one as its my first grow - Black Orchid Eco fans are cheap and have acceptable reviews, anyone know this brand? and are they loud? looking for a quiet fan if possible
EDIT: also, what size? 4"?

I would go with 6". It will upscale to a larger tent very nicely in the event you ever decide to go bigger. You'll limit your options if you go with a 4" system.
This one is 5" - would you say this is too cheap?

thanks for the link! would it be a 4" fan that is the best fit?
as said above 6" would be a better investment and you will also be able to run it a bit quieter, tho you may need a more expensive (bigger) filter to match it with.

don't buy that.
didn't realize you are in UK. can you order from amazon US? or no?

Yes. Far too cheap. That looks like nothing more than a cheap inline booster fan. It will not have the extraction properties of a proper inline extraction fan.

This. If you can afford the 6 inch go for it. The AC Infinity fans are super quiet. The S-series have fan speed control only. The T-series have a control module that you can program to have the fan kick on when it hits a certain temp or humidity.

I'm looking to get my whole fan kit (fan, carbon filter and ducting) for less than £70 - is that possible lol

That is not a proper extraction fan. Really that is a duct fan. Quite loud too.
Black Orchid have some perfectly good proper fans. But they will be more expensive.

also consider getting bigger than you need, and using a speed controller to slow it down. This is how to achieve really low volume
