Not a strain for the faint of heart but sounds like you're up for it.
I'd have to say Arjan's Ultra Haze #1 would be a pretty good fit for you.

Winner High Times Cannabis Cup 2006.
genetics:
Neville’s Haze, Cambodian, Laos.
Effect:
Very intense sativa high, a real blast. A very psychedelic feeling.
Flowering indoor:
13 weeks will deliver ripe sativa buds with heavy density and amazing resin. Expect a yield up to 900gr/sqm.
Flowering outdoor:
Ready at the end of November in the Northern hemisphere and in June in the Southern one. Massive yield: up to 1300 gr/plant.
HTC: 21.6%
CBD: 0.8%
CBN: 0.6%

The 13 week flowering time is pretty ambitious, i find 16 weeks is a little more realistic. Then again, i'm not one for taking down sativas early (or indicas for that matter) in an attempt to manipulate the high.
The high is as they say, a real blast.
It's not alot to look at, but one whiff completely dissolves any notion that it might not be up to par.
VERY pine-ey sativa flavour, so strong it needs a good cure or its almost unsmokable. Once its had a good long cure it is truly one of the finest smokes i've ever had the pleasure of smoking, let alone growing.

For week 12 of flower the bud may be a little sparse, and the trichs may be tiny, but they are there in abundance.

Take caution though, this plant doesn't like to be fed, practically at all. It burns up if you dare feed it agressively, its hard to hold back, but this plant seems to get its energy from out of nowhere.

Heres a shot with me holding a lighter behind the bud trying to make it look bigger. Rest assured, the buds are huge and everywhere.

This plant is some kind of vigorous.

12/12 from clone, about 5 weeks in.

Also it responds very well to topping and fimming, pushing out multiple main colas.

Its a little cooked, but this plant looks like its flashing the metal horns if you squint at it right

My Pakistan Valley grow, high temps and light problems

its dj shorts blueberry crossed to a haze which one im not sure. so not a pure sativa but the pheno i grew had very slender sativa leaves and other sativa features. all in all a great strain as far as availability its somewhat hard to find at most dispensaries but it appears to be becoming more available.

I wish we could get more exotic strains out here in the IE. All I can usually find are indica-heavy crosses. I did get some Shareef a couple days ago that knocked me on my ass, though. :D

We need a dispensary in Riverside, CA
We need a collective, not for profit organization. I believe Palm Springs has one, I just don't want to drive that far.
I can't be trusted not to sample my meds on the way home...:joint:

Bump....

Been creepin around the forums for a few years now wondering this same question. :) Though I'm too young to have access to 60/70's high grade gear. (32yrs old) My search started after recalling two instances of my youth, the first time I ever smoked, and the first and only :( time I smoked what all the old timers must have been talkin about. The first was some decent brick a buddy and I smoked a bowl of one night on a golf course ('95). At first I was like, Meh.... then the next thing I know I'm thinkin to myself "Holy shit.... I'm NOT dreaming!" Fast forward to a day or so before senior year art trip to Chicago ('96), I find a J on the floor at a friends, he says keep it, I dont smoke J's so I pull the bud out to put into my bowl (for the art trip). :) Anywho, it's got loads of red pistils all over it, never seen that before!! Art trip day, my buds and I skip the museum for the city and while most are up in the Sears Tower I hit the restroom with my friend for a little smoke break. 3 hits later I'm DONE! For the rest of the trip I'm high as hell, PARANIOD, completely lost, and trying to contain myself so I dont look like a complete spaz. If it weren't for the rest of the group I would never have made it back to the bus.

Some of the more noteworthy things I've found so far is:
From the inception of the Cannabis Cup almost all the winners, excluding Indica class, have had atleast some Original Haze in their genes. http://www.uk420.com/boards/index.php?showtopic=188559,
The Real Seed Co. is a group of backpackers that visit areas of interest and bring back seeds to sell. http://www.therealseedcompany.com/,
That most of the speedy/trippy/outragous weed came from areas between + or - 15 degrees of latitude,
And mostly, that cannabis is a highly diverse plant and finding a spectacular individual might require you to grow out tens to hundreds of plants... :(

Big props to Sub for starting this thread and the rest of you guys for sharing your experiences.
