^^^^ 250 is not bad 200 is great. But you always get what you pay for. 225 to 250 is fair to me if you want it cheaper buy more...IMHO

250 is street prices. medical should not be this expensive by any means. and I never out of weed long enough to have to buy more than an eigth i guess lol especially since hash. IMHO should be free. but Patient2Patient shouldnt be past 250 for the absolute best of the best. but when half assed n00b az medical growers start charging that id rather buy an oz of straight fire for 250 that someone smuggled from a cali dispensary.
not that i do that i get all my weed fo free. but if i was to spend that kinda money on pot thats probably what I'd do

Yeah, try getting scripts for free. Nothing in this world is free, and if I'm investing my money and my time to grow it, you are not getting your meds for free. Anybody who thinks they deserve free weed is an idiot. I'm not saying that gives me a right to ask for outrages prices, but definitely not for free.

It’s my opinion that meds always have to be 100% FREE, per the law - patient-to-patient exchange.

With that said, some patients might offer to pay someone for consulting with regard to how to best use the free meds, based on strain specific data as it relates to dosage and most beneficial application methods. I personally have also developed Magical Healing Grapefruits based on some ancient middle earth magic I have been researching since high school and I could theoretically sell these Magical Grapefruits to qualifying patients who I believe could benefit from this spiritual healing citrus miracle. Let me clearly state that one would not have to give a cardholder meds to charge for consulting or to sell them a magic grapefruit - these three types of transactions (Free Meds, Consulting and Magic Grapefruit) are not necessarily mutually exclusive and are 100% not interdependent of each other – that needs to be made very clear during any transaction.

So, in summary, IMO one should never charge for meds as that would be a clear violation of the AMMA, unless they are a dispensary or legally committed through a caregiver-patient relationship.

hydro for 250 is over priced but hydro can never be true top shelf thats the difference you get what you pay for. and everthing that comes here from cali is hydro or outdoor. and considering people are bring lbs back for like 2000 lb or so thats 125 an oz there gonna double there money off you.
if you just wanna get high sure cali hydro is fine

Full organic Top Shelf @ 200 is what I have seen consistently, maybe slightly higher during the death months.
Some even give out free samples to non patients just to spread the wealth/knowledge.

agreed but this will vary grower to grower. like a grower with a good job or money already who grows on the side vs a grower with no job who invest much more time into there grow and use mmj to feed there family.

I want to see this local $200 top shelf. I personally see that going for the cali outdoor that floods the market this time of year. Haven't seen a $200 top shelf(imo) unless its wholesale pricing.

They talking grower to grower prices!! Two growers that know each other would probably probably charge each other a couple hundo.. I know I would, & growers rarely pay a premium because most of the good ones know each other.

At the end of the day it's 200-300 for top shelf. That is just the norm the market has set IMO. Like everyone else has stated, these
prices vary on respect of fellow growers and I guess the relationship in which they have. If anyone is paying more then that they are definitely getting ripped off. All of my patients get free meds but in return they help with some aspect of the growing procees. Most get away with and sometimes prefer to trim the medicine in which they receive. :) If you are producing quality medicine there is always some sort of reiumbursent regardless of the manner it is obtained. So technically, unless you are a hippie (no offense), it still is not free.

i did some math some time back trying to figure out what the difference in real money is from the 70s. i'm fuzzy on it but it's something like this:

in 1978, i was selling ounces of really fine columbian and mexican for $40. i mean just some beautiful stuff, stoney stoney stoney. hawaiian was $60 to $80 but i knew air force guys and that was cheap. $40 in 1978 was a very fair price and is about $150 in today's money (i'm off on this but it's close). in the early 90s, i was buying the good stuff for $60 an oz and that is a bit more that $200 in today's money. i think $200 is very fair. i can see $250 for something sweet.

if i was trading mine, i'd price 1 at $200 and 2 or more at $170. i would consider that very fair considering my time, overhead and related expenses. i realize everybody has a different thing going on. expenses vary widely per dried pound of buds. it's an interesting discussion but the reality is, it's a sellers market so to speak and the patients will have to take what they give. once the dispensaries start popping up, things will change dramatically.

here's something good. it's not going to happen yet but this is great news. one step at a time...
