what hd %???

huh?

What's a hd%?

71% is a cool number though, it reminds me of 1971 which is a year I was living as a kid, and we did kid stuff like shoot birds with bb guns and then set them on fire if they were too dumb to die right away.

Ah simpler times...

:bigjoint:
if my kids started setting light to birds and watching them die i dont think i would think it was normal kid stuff, what do you do now, mass murder?

50 to 60% at night (lights off)
It will usually be lower in the day (lights on).
High humidity may also be acceptable early on during veg, 70 to 80% but should be cut dramatically in flowering and especially in late flowering (last 2 weeks), and monitored well as some strains may lend themselves to powdery mildew, and bud rot. Hope that helps.

45-50% is a good rule of thumb lights off (too damp, and bud rot, fungi, and mildew will thrieve(sp?)). To keep the enviroment out of optimal range for powdery mildew, and fungi to grow. 50-60% with lights on, and 45-50% in the flowering stage. Dropping the humidity to the 30% range a few days prior to harvest will help bost resin production. I say 30% because thats the lowest during the last few days I've gone with the grows I helped with...we will be experimenting to dip into the 20's% range to see if it hurts yield, or stays similar yield with even more resin production.
