^Definitely. On my very last run, I made that mistake and they stretched like crazy, much more than usual. I'd say they stretched twice as much as usual, and were very thin and flimsy, with branches bending downwards. It was a huge pain in the ass when the buds started filling out, because I couldn't find enough places to tie up all the flimsy branches.lol I won't make that mistake again.
Killed the yield too, because the plants were putting too much energy into growing foliage, rather than budding. Personally, I'd rather have them go yellow early, than have too much nitrogen. I've seen the difference, and the yield was much better when they yellowed early.
