my things have just started to flower ( little buds ) but if they was to suddenly look like they wont make it would to the end due to my incompitence, would i be able to smoke what little bud there is. meaning = could i just let the thing dry out and smoke it ? would it get me high ?

No man my opinion is if they are looking sick you troubleshoot and take care of them. That's part of the growing experience. Although I don't know what kinds of problems you have, the little premature buds aren't worth it. I would rather gain knowledge, experience, and a chance of some good smoke as opposed to giving up and chopping it now.
