What is a good ph meter?

Hey I need to order a ph meter tonight, I grow in soil so I was hoping someone here who has experience can direct me in the right path?? Thank you so much your help is appreciated.

hey bud...I just picked up a PH meter and fertility meter combo from Lowes for like hellacheap. Works pretty damn well

I have owned a hanna and a oakton. The hanna worked great...for a while. The oakton is the shit!! Oh yeah that one at lowes suck ass by the way. that was the first one i bought. trust me...

where you get the Oakton from? I was wondering why it was telling me my fertility was shit...guess now i know

I am afraid you won't be very happy with that unit. I am tracing pH meters on several forums (both aquaristic and gardening) and general opinion is that cheap devices show what they want, not what you need.
