Auto strains are bred to go into flower on their own without a shift to 12/12 light (photoperiod). They can get light 24/7 and usually reach maturity a few weeks sooner than regular strains.

Here is a shot of a Lowryder #2 which is an autoflower as well as dwarf strain. This baby is under 18/6 and flowering nicely. I have some pollen from LR2 male I just cut down that I am going to pollenate this baby in the morning with. At 70 for 10 seeds I am not going to pay that again. Hopefully this one will give me close to 100 seeds.

An autoflowering strain comes when an indica or sativa is cross bred with a ruderalis plant. It's quality that it's most known for is it's ability to flower under a lighting schedule of 18/6 and most go 2 months+ from seed to harvest. Normally you would have to switch your light schedule to 12/12 to flower your plant and most flowering periods are 10 weeks which is the whole life span of an Auto. Essentially it makes a perpetual harvest capable with small coompact plant. AF (Autoflowering) strains usually go into a rapid flower period around 10-20 days of it's life then flowers rapidly. If grown in optimal conditions you might yield 1-3oz off one plant, usually 7grams-an oz is an average harvest especially if your a new grrower to the strain. Got any pics of the harvest on the LR2 grow, also what was the final weight in on the biggest plant and the smallest plant, just to get an average weight. Also what lighting are you using, and what kind of nutes? thanx and rep in advance

This is my first grow of auto's and I am just doing 6 in my veg room and keeping them out of my 12/12 room which is full of white widow. I never give a shit about the results because they are what they are, always assume a bit less than 30% of wet weight in final. My goal is to eventually cross the LR2 with my other strains to see if I can stabilize or have fun experimenting. What I like the best is the fact that I am flowering the auto's in my veg room while waiting on my white widows to finish up. I am at week2 flower for the widows I should be able to report final weight in a couple of weeks for the auto's. in my veg room I am using 400w hps and in flower room 1000w and 600w hps

i did some akxlr12 its some nice smoke. and am doing more now. yea its nice auto that you can smoke 70 -75 days. giving 30 days or better to cure. but my others will just be finnishing up as well. im germ.... 10 right now pluse 4 that have poped there heads the other day. my plan was to germ.. 10 a week for the nexts month.

yah I am just adding to the mix and figured from now on I can have buds growing in both rooms now without changing anything, cant wait to give smoke report and down the road cross the LR2 wth my purple or blueberry to play around
