What is average yield per plant for a first grow? (range is fine)

What should I expect to get per female plant with decent buds? This is my first grow and there are a lot of factors still.

Also, I've just been called a rookie for thinking you can roll the leaves and smoke em!

Dabu, this isn't really an answerable question. There are so many variables that really the only answer is 0-500+ grams dried. We know nothing about what strain you're growing, if its indoors/outdoors, types of lights, ferts, area, weather, pests, etc....... Even if we knew all this it would still be up in the air.

From the sounds of it you need to do A LOT of research before starting your grow. Check out the grow faq and read numerous threads.. even reading stuff that may have nothing to do with your particular situation can often answer a question you may have. Good luck!

I totally recommed SeeMoreBuds' book "Marijuana Buds for Less: How to grow 8 oz of bud for under $100. It's awesome, and I guess that kinda gives you an idea of his yield...

lol, and yeah, I wouldn't go telling people you tried to smoke leaves
