What is causing this problem? Im using ff happy frog and using plain water with a ph of 6.5 (tap water) and plants are in 2-3 weekls flowering..please any help?

Mmmm it gets up to 80-85 sometimes its lower depending on day..Size pot is 2gallon..could it be anything to do with cal/mag or a ph defenciency?

Yes could be early mag def. Tap water usually has it in it tho and if you say you always water with tap at 6.5 it shouldn't be a ph issue. I noticed at an old place of mine the water had too much calcium in it which caused a mag def in the plant. Could be your problem. I first noticed the excess calcium when saw it staining the toilets and sink when the water sat for so long.

Yeah its been mainly just that one plant but the other plants leaves are curling upwards...anyway to correct it maybe?

I agree with bostoner. Having to little of Potassium in your plants causes the plants leaves to show retarded growth and show a scorched tip and edges around the leaves. Potassium is necessary for all activities having to do with water transportation. When your Relative humidity is low, you can almost bet your going to soon get a potassium deficiency from your plants perspiration.

So will over nuting. Are you feeding with nutes at all? How often, how much, what kind? Personally, just looking at the plants, ph slightly low, slight nute burn, perhaps over watered. Best step, whats your runoff ph....check it.

Im using fox farm happy frog as medium and im not using any nutes not yet..also im using tap water and the run off of that is slightly high about 7.5-8 and i lower that with ph up and down to about 6.5 ummm i dont think im over watering becuase i wait til i see that they need water then i water them...Or when the soil is dry about 2 inches...Idk what to do it aint really going away....

It wont go away it will just stop spreading. Low ph make mg lockout not high ph. If your pouring 6.5 on it and its coming out much higher it not mg def due to ph lockout but like I said too much calcium can cause a mg def too. Do your sinks and toilets get white calcium stains on them? Potassium also absorbs well in higher ph medium. So imo it has to be an imbalance of nutes or lack of the nute. If yellowing spreads in between the veins its mag def. It it stays on the edges and tips its most likely a K def. So if you wait you'll have a better idea of what its lacking. Either way its still early and only a slight deficiency. Could even correct itself and not spread just from you staying on course. Also a tiny bit of heat stress on the leaves is nothing to worry about. Doesn't look too bad at all.

Flush the plant an back off with excessive the chemical fert. use 1/4 strength.

When your plants are showing sign of defficiency AND the ph is off, then adding more nutes will only compound issues,imo. You need to get the ph of the soil in check or your problems wont go away. Seeing the ridges like that says to me there is too much something in the rootzone. Fox farms, its problematic. If you can, avoid it. But get your rootzone ph in ccheck. If you coupled a good flush with a nice foliar feeding, it could be helpful.

I think the same thing that it has something to do with the rootzone..but only 1 plant is really showing the defenciy the other 6 is just showing the curling tips of the leaves really so im thinking it may just be with that plant..How would i go upon flush with foliar feed?

Run a bunch of 6'5 ph water through the soil u.till the runoff ph is around 7, then a few gallons of ph7 in, runoff ph 7, then you are finished flushing/adjusting rootzone ph. As for the foliar feeding, 1/4 strength nutes that correspond with feeding s,hedule.... Try a cal mag, liquid karma, and uncle johns blend foliar feed....thats the gravy there. However you might not want to foliar at the same time as the flush unless you dont mind it getting a little overwatering shock. Try the foliar after a day or two. Do you plan to give nutes to your plant? If so, what?

Also, forgot to mention, dont foliar the plants under the direct light. It will burn the plant. And dont put it back in direct light again till its dry.
