right i have to admit i have never actually done a " flush " simply on the terms that i dont know what it is lol never really had a problem with not doing it but still....

what the fuck is it?? im growing lowryders feminzed in my own personal soil mix

Flushing refers to using water only. Alot of people do it the last couple weeks before harvest and believe it gives a better taste to their plants due to the lack of nutrients. Flushing can also be useful if you have nutrient lock or have over fertilized.

its what you do after you take a dump.

Or running 3-6 gallons of water per gallon of medium through your pots. More or less depending on how much water retention your soil has. If you have fox farms ocean forest I'd use about 4 gallons of water per gallon of soil.

Don't flush before harvest, you don't need to. Just stop nutes 2 weeks pre-harvest.

People flush to clear their soil of nutes, salts, pH imbalance, etc. Its a rinse.

Its not "overwatering" per se, just running alot of water through the soil at once. then let er drain out and continue doing your thing.

ok i just over water it? a week or 2 b4 harvest
Sort of but not exactly. You want to basically water on your normal schedule but using water only and more of it(alot more of it) to flush out those built up nutrients from your soil or hydro resevoir.

I concur. I dont flush and you really dont need to unless you have done something wrong. I personally give those nutrients right up to the end but alot of other growers disagree with this method.

if your girls are pulling the green out of the shade leaves at the end you're probably alright to do nothing
