My bet the fabric pots caused the gnats
Everyone else can grow in coco without issues but you wanna reinvent the hydro method most use?

8liter fabric pots. The humidity is indeed high, but we have had some very humid weather these last few weeks. I usually have my waterings dialed in by now, I have a good feel with the weight, the color and texture of the coco, and how the leaves are standing for when its time to water. It's not an exact schedule, but I don't think that's an issue.

I have been using both biobizz and green buzz liquids because I have read great things about green buzz liquids and wanted to try their line and I'm almost finished with the rest of the biobizz. Both bloom nutes have different npk ratios, and I figured that using a relative modest amount of both would give the plants a wide array of varied organic ingredients/sources. Maybe mixing the two bloom nutes together is creating an issue, but I didn't really think at these doses would really hurt a lot.

Do you think I should lay off the bloom nutes by half, and maybe then calcium won't be as locked out? I think the chances of some sort of lockout seem higher than an actual deficiency. Because running 2mg/liter of calmag is super high.
I'm not very familiar with either the biobloom or green buzz bloom but they're both bloom nutrients and likely both high in P/K. I would use one or the other but not both. Did you just start using both for this grow that you're having issues with? That's why I asked what's changed.

Regardless, you're pretty far along to roll back what's going on. I'd cut one of the bloom nutes and cut back on the calmag and ride it out.

There is a lot you are asking here...first let me say that getting advice from xtsho is good stuff. If you don't know and he makes a suggestion I can vouch that he will get it fixed if you listen.

When too much minerals build up, they can bond and make some of them unavailable...explaining how can you add so much Ca and still be deficient. Your plants want a precise ratio of minerals. When you feed that ratio, they thrive. That is why mixing 2 bloom feed makes fixing a problem even harder. Pick one, or provide us the ratios on the bottles and we can help.
