I could definitely be wrong in saying just to wait it out but it's worked for me anytime I've seen this kind of seedling.
If no one responded he probably would have come to the same conclusion as you. All the diagnosis guides out there are so vague: "Leaves sticking up? Magnesium deficiency. Add epsom salt." That's all the info a lot of those self diagnosis guides will give you.
Knowledge comes with experience. But don't ever think that giving advice is bad. It's up to the grower to either run with the advice or question it. Either way, knowledge is being gained.
