The Secret Magic Formula:

Botanicare Nutrients:

126ML Cal-Mag Plus
180ML Liquid Karma
540ML Pure Bend Pro Bloom

Mix it into a gallon jug and fill with water. I'm running 2900 PPM in an aeroponic system. I know everyone is going to say that's way too high but check out the picks for yourself.

Wassup stink bud... it seems that you are the only one that actually gets what we are after... we dont want 7 different things to put in... So does your mix take care of root problems and such... how would that be in dwc?... I am getting through a bad case of root rot right now and just found ut about the great benefits of using hydrogen peroxide in my rez.... could that be added to that mix or will it kill anything?

H2O2 kills beneficial bacteria but it would be better to get rid of them along with the root rot than not.

Thx man... my thoughts exactly.. I just dont want to throw money away so i wanted to get stuff that can be mixed with hydrogen peroxide. I think that as long as its not organic? But then they try and push vodoo juice... isnt that organic?

I know guys who are having good luck with DWC and I use it myself for clones but I feel you would be better off with an aeroponic system. The most important factor in the systems I use is a timer. The roots receive 1 min on and 5 mins off. This gives the roots max oxygen without drying out. I can pump some serious nutrients without ever burning the plants.

Think about if for a second. It's all about Oxygen to the roots. It's easy to give water and nutrients but O2 is the tough one. Everyone gets hung up on nutrients and they miss the most important point, Oxygen!

How much Oxygen do you think is in water compared to the air?

Try this test...

Take a deep breath, this is air.

Now fill your bathtub with water.Put an airstone in the water. Stick your head under the water and take a deep breath.

Are you getting my point?

Roots love air. The more air the better. But...Too much and they dry out and die :( so that's why we use a timer. Spray down the little bitches just enough to keep them good and wet.

You don't have to believe me but you might want to check out this photo I took yesterday. Use this formula with an astrogrow system and you will be measuring your buds with a yardstick instead of a ruler.

Out of These what would you recommend?
in my humble opinion alot of these weed nutes are waaaaaay overrated. seems to me they over complicate the whole feeding issue. we're dealing with a plant. while every plant has its nuances they're all basically......plants. these companies give a bottle of naturally occurring minerals etc a fancy, stoner friendly name and then charge a small fortune for what can be had at less than 1/2 the price if you do a bit of research. i'm as guilty as the next, had been using advanced nutes "sensi grow and bloom as well as their "supertea, also grow and bloom. thing is this last time i used only what i could find at the local wal mart/lowes as well as experimenting with pond water and different homemade nute solutions. the plants are no different in yield or quality. a good strain is a good strain is a good strain. if you give it a comfortable, as close to outdoors as you can environment, as well as the right BASIC nutes, you're gonna have a quality plant. i don't really think you need to pay an arm and a leg to provide your baby with such things as "macronutrients". you think mother nature has a 2 part SUPER BUD formulation ???? naw baby naw. read up a little and get inventive....you;ll save a buncha $$$$$$

What are you looking for that isn't already provided by the dozens of nutrient manufacturers? any 2 or 3 part will get the job done.

OK well, what im saying is that i want to feed my ladies great with stuff i can get anywhere... So yor saying that the plant would grow as much with just sensi A & b ...and that all that big bud, overdrive and sweat leaf doesnt do anything? I doubt that, but if thats true and there is anyone here that has some kind of formula.... I dont think i like the battery acid idea.. hehehhe..

I thought you were looking for a simple formula. Why not just follow the AN feeding guidelines if you have all that stuff?

No, I am using all that right now... Its not that i don't understand or that its too complicated or nothing like that... I just wanted to save on a few hundred dollars .... You know i wish my great uncle was still alive.. he was the hippie type... and he used to talk to my mothe about some of the shit he would put in there...

rusty nail?

Egg?

It just seems like he would just put shit in there that he thought would give something to the plant...... sure in his grows he used soil ..... well this is the 2000 model of hippie here and i want to know if people use stuff like that in hydro....

I think i should have explained my expectations of this post in the beginning.

Thanks for your help guys!

Im glad they calmed down on you jason... hehehhehe
