What is the best waterpump and waterjet combo for aeroponics?

So I'm considering building a aeroponic system in the near future. But I am stumped on what would be the best water pump and water jet combination.

Idea's?

Thank you.

How big is your system? Pumps come in different sizes and have different flow rates, so, obviously you don't want too small of a pump.

That being said, I just need some more info on what kind of hydro setup you want to run. Some water pumps efficiency are reduced when pumping vertical. So, is it a horizontal run like a bucket system or a vertical setup like a flood table?

I have plenty of answers for you if you're willing to get more specific on this post. I'll sub to this thread as well so I can help out.

High or low pressure aeroponics? If you wanna try high pressure get an aquatec 6800 or 8800. You can get misters and connectors from multiponics.com. Im giving it my first shot and it's pretty dang cool.

it depends on your setup, how high up your going from the pump, and how many sprayer heads.

Well not my thread but I have always used the cheapo pumps for my low pressure aero. Now I am doing a flood and drain hempy style grow with water stakes and a 160 gph pump thats on for 30sec and off for 5min.

I am going to be using the hempy set-up in a vertical grow with 3 walls each holding about 9 plants so 27 plants in all I will need to push water up about 6.5 feet and through 1/2hose about 50' in total length.

I have seen some other water pumps but I haven't searched yet where to find them. If anyone knows that would be great. A non-submersible would be much better also if possible.

I have to apologize I don't have to many specifics at the moment so I'll answer your questions as best I can for now. Right now I have an 25 site cloner in an 18 gallon tote just as an experiment. I got some nozzles from home depot and I have a 250GPH mag-drive pump that was laying around. So far I'm impressed with the results. But upon doing some reading I find out that I should be using a high pressure low volume pump instead of my high volume low pressure pump.

I have a 8x14x7' area to play with. I prefer DIY stuff to expensive premade hydro systems. I also enjoy steep learning curves. But I'm still in the planning stage, so I can't really say for certain what kind. I guess I'm just looking for a general thumb of rule so I can figure it out as I go.

Just out of curiosity, has anyone ever successfully done a 100% organic areoponic grow before?

I've used the ecoplus pumps and still do along with the active aqua ones as well. Both are good and don't give me problem's but if you have tried moving water high up or along a long distance the pump isn't made for it.

Or I have no had good luck with them in that way. I have bought a 1300gph pump thinking I would keep it in my res and attach a hose so i can pump water as I want but it takes everything it has to pump it up and along the length of the hose and it takes for ever to even get 5 gals. lol.

I seen a thread in vertical i believe with a guy doing lpa with a different pump I have not seen before Ill have to see what it is.
