What is the Largest CFL under 200 watts???

Hey i am in an old farm house and wanted to grow with CFLs but need to keep it under 200 watts. What is the biggest CFL you can get under 200 watts?
 
Instead of getting one CFL at 200watts or 2 CFLs at 100watts, why don't you get a combination of many small 10-20watts around the plant, and like 2 40watts for the top. I've found with more CFL's, even the small ones, it gets more light to all sides of the plant which in turn makes for larger growth/more bud sites. Also, with more CFL's, you have a better chance of the lumens not being lost and reaching your plant.

If you're using CFL's, I would also recommend getting mylar for the sides to reflect back the light and lumens to your plant(s)

i agree.... im using several low wattage cfls instead of a couple big ones..... its easier to fully light the plant
 
Mylar is the same stuff they make emergency solar blankets and silvery balloons out of. Flat white paint will do just fine if you do not have any space blankets on hand. foil creates hot spots an can burn your plants.
 
You can get 125w cfls that are quite big,but i agree with the others.A range of smaller wattage bulbs would be good.At the mo im using a 250w cfl and 7 20watters all around and getting good results.Mylar works well but white paint is cool,tin foil tends to get a bit warm and can reflect hot spots on your plants.Good luck
 
With all due respect............Get a 150 hps from china mart or lowes cheap add several 23w cfls all around best bang for your buck. you will thank me later.......god luck
 
Off topic I know but my 600w ballast just died and even throwing in a bunch of CFLs over my 3 ladies has pretty much halted growth. Can't wait til I get a new ballast. :blsmoke:
