i have grown shit loads of plants in clear containers never seemed to phase them, only downfall is algea will grow if kept moist enough but algea isnt a issue in soil just hydro#1 Clear container not good for roots, light = bad for roots.Looks a lot like some type of fungus, probably yellow house plant mushroom, it's just growing below grade because light gets to it.
is the plant suffering? i.e yeelowing leaves looking like its going to die? if its healthy leave it alone!!do i have to re pot the plant or can i just cover up the container so no light gets to the roots i dont want to take a loss on it. or can i try to clean it out without transplanting and cover the sides because it is a lst plant that have been vegging for 3 months so its kinda big to transplant and re tie every branch.
