its made from cannabis.
(ps looks like bubble, and the smell might be fermentation let it dry out some.)

no its not bubble hash, its like black tar kinda... but brownish in the middle. the guy said its afghani hash but I dont know... he said he had 2 lbs of it so its not hard to produce I take it.
might just be mid grade kief and plant dust from a sifter or rolling machine for the trim made out of screen... then heated and pressed to make one 10 lb brick. maybe

Well, I can almost certainly say it's not made with solvent. What's the weird smell like?
Looks wet and fluffy... Not compact.
If by "bubble hash" They mean water hash, then I agree.
Looks like water hash that wasn't pressed and dried...
After you make water hash you dry out some water for 12-24 hours on screens or just a plate near a fan. Then press, fold, press, fold, press...

i bet you its washing machine bubble hash. would easily explain how he has 2 lbs of it, why it smells funny and also why its brown....

Too many people watching weeds the tv show if they actually used a normal washing machine for their hash,all that detergent and stuff built up In there...

it is rock hard, very sticky and tough stuff. it stretches when I tried to twist and break it, almost like taffy. it doesnt crumble very good.

I dont think this stuff is gonna be drying... when you rip it, it turns brownish... after a while, the reins/oils seep out and it becomes black and gooey again. almost like it melts or something.
I put some in my hand grinder upside down so it doesnt fall through the holes... works great for every other hash, but boy did this stuff ever make a mess in my grinder!!!!! so I chopped up a bud or 2 and it cleaned my grinder up a bit, plus the weed was 50/50 with hash and weed, it was not bad. im still not a hash fan and if I can get rid of this for 20$ a g, ill be happy. double my money

They sell stuff like that at the dispensary, it's the $15-20/gram grade...they have up to $40/gram which is semi transparent. If you break off a piece can you smash it into a pancake? Then does it bubble when it burns?
I've also had "hash" that was exactly like that from other sources but had a slight acetone flavor so it may be done with a solvent if it smells like oil...which would explain the large quantity.
edit:: actually I have a bit from the dispensary, this is dark brown bubble hash, just lower grade, maybe it's different from yours but here it is:

ive smoked washing machine hash a long time b4 weeds came out no problem if the washing machine is brand new
