haha yes mate! rugby's well hard, so's millwall. american football is duff cause you're allowed to knock on - too easy. same as field hockey's duff cause there's no offside rule - too easy. shinty and hurling are proper difficult sports though. and probably ice hockey actually.

footie wise i'm for glasgow celtic fc, but they're having a shit season. least i'm not a fairweather fan tho eh.

i know tell me about it, all i wanted was a coversation with someone about football, they just cant get to grip with that. :evil:

I support my local team, through good and bad times (more bad mind lol). Most people i know are chelsea or man utd, never been to a game and live hundred miles away!

I prefer Glasgow to your neibours in the blue, jesus you have had some rukas up there!

aye the rangers-celtic war is one serious bitch fest! it's just another excuse for a fight though. scottish football's a state, none of our teams are worth shit this season.

a wee local team's always good though, it's nice to not have all the uber hype and madness of the big leagues. just footie for footie's sake!

i dunno much about hurling but theyre similar enough, the scottish boys play the irish boys once a year in a kinda mixed rules game.

you can't score over the posts in shinty, and camans are different to hurleys but apart from that i don't know the differences.

proper mens' games, definitely.

pretty gutted for ireland, i'd be supporting them if only the ref wasn't so duff.

Yea but in the premiership every week the ref decision can be over turned with players appealing red cards, anyway it doesnt really matter now but henry should really be banned for some of the world cup just to set an exsample1

I enjoy watching Arsenal and Chelsea play, but country-wise, I always support Germany. I would support USA, but since soccer doesn't attract our best athletes we never stand a chance. Although, we are slowly starting to get more athletic players (Altidore, Anyewu, Kenny Cooper (who needs to be on our national team)) so maybe in the next 10 years or so we will compete more...
