When Rome was just starting out a the SPRQ, as a few fraternities, Sicily was actually part of the Carthiginian empire, and Carthage was established by Tyre, Queen Dido, all that. So Sicily was actually an African Territory before Rome got big.

Basically Carthage was an African trade empire, that traded with Greeks and was kind of the Rome of its time, but it was established by Cananites (Tyre, Lebanon etc). When Europeans (British Empire I think) started exploring Africa and talked to Libyans, the Libyans said they were Cananites. And there are Roman Structures in Libya because after the Punic wars, North Africa became Rome.

Also, there were the Punic People, which were the people of Queen Dido I think. They were only part of the Carthiginian Empire, but one family (2 main generals) from the Punic background were the center of the entire 2 Punic Wars, which were the Carthage V Roman wars.

I believe it's general opinion that the Carthiginians were derived from the Phoenicians. Lots of historical references to the "sea people" who pretty much raided and romped thru the Mediterranean in early history. They even threatened the Pharaonic rule for awhile, a thousand or more years before the Romans existed

I don't disagree,I will get some stuff I wrote a while ago and post it here. About both Phoenicians and Sea People. I am just talking about Sicily Historically not being Italian, which is what was meant by 50% Sicilian, 25% Italian. I was just saying there is a definite difference between Sicilian and Italian, because of History.

The Phoenicians (Sidon and Tyre) also started producing blue from sea animals. They probably were the first people to blow in a shell to make a loud noise. Then, as Punt disappears in to History, Egypt seems to start arresting people called "Sea People". Sea People were from the "Lukka Lands", the "Beaker Folk", etc.

You have probably heard of the bird called "The Phoenix", this Bird was the Symbol of the "Phoenicians" and Resurrection and Rebirth, etc. You have probably heard the story in the Bible about the Tower of Babel that says people tried to build a Tower that would reach heaven, and supposedly God invented all the Languages at this time by splitting everyone up. But we know for a fact that the Phoenicians invented most languages. They also invented clear glass, colorful dyes (blue, red and purple) and boats that could sail into the Ocean.

There is an out of print book called "Hebrew is Greek" and you can get it on Amazon for $2000, or you can search for it online. And in the book Joseph Yahuda explains how the Phoenicians are the parents of all language and shows how Hebrew and Greek are basically the same language.

In Ancient Egypt they did a test to figure out if the Kemetic (Egyptian) language was older, or if the Phrygian (Turkish) language was older. In this "test" they raised 2 children in Isolation to find out what language they would speak if they never talked to another person, and the first word they said was "Bekos" which means "Bread" in Phrygian. this language is closely related to Hebrew and Greek.

The Roman Empire didn't have a lot of enemies, but one formidable enemy came out of a small group in Africa called the Punic who at the time were part of the Carthaginian empire. The Roman Empire saw these people as the Phoenix, which can be seen in the way they treated them after winning the Second Punic War. They Burned the Carthage to the Ground for Weeks, over and over. Because it was the Phoenix and they did not want it to rise again. Then they enslaved the Carthaginian people, which is where a lot of Hebraic slaves in Rome would have come from, since those groups were Hebraic. Carthage was not just African, the Italian Island called Sicily was even part of the nation and the name "Sicily" comes from the "Sicel" people. And the Phoenicians/Carthaginians were known for their trading.

Phoenicians created most languages used today. That is why languages are all so similar, from Greek to English to Russian, you can see basically the same Characters being used. they invented Arabic languages as languages for Art/Poetry etc, they created Greek languages as languages for Trade, they created languages just like most peoples name objects.

First was Carthage, then Rome,then most next notable would probably be Jesus and the Byzantine Empire, then Muhammed and the Caliphate, then the Ottoman Empire and the Moorish Empire.
But around (before) the Time of the Byzantine Empire there were the Vernacular and priests speaking and reading Latin when no one else could.

It could either be Irish or Iberian. Keltic/Celtic groups started in Iberia (Spain/France/Protugal) and being so close to Africa, probably Africa as well. British People are Anglo-Saxon, kind of like a Blonde German, same Heritage. But Ireland, Keltic Heritage, is a completely different thing.
