What keeps you coming back?

I keep coming back because of the amount of information and because of how much I have learned. I am just getting started with a pollen chucken experiment and the world of breeding is pretty much an unknown to me.

Also, I am a seed hoarder and am always getting word of new seed drops (Bodhi) via RIU. Plus many breeders are on the forums helping out and answering questions.

This is the only place you can talk about your grow without breaking the number 1 rule of growing.
Rule #1: Don't tell anyone that you are growing!
It's a great outlet. I felt he need to add this after postulating it.

Honestly this is topic I had to kinda sit and mull over for a bit..

so here goes..

When the net was set up.. it was not set up for the folks to be dorks to each other.. it was set up to share info.. that's it..
the basic idea was to HELP someone else.. be it here or IRL.. we have all had folks in our lives who are negative and want to cause upset or unrest, however MOST tend to avoid those folks..


I can overlook all the B.S the fights.. and other petty crap that goes on here with the intent simply to piss or attempt to piss off another user.. (regardless if they know or dont know the other user here.. ) take the political and religious forums.. too much troll baiting there..

I dont think I have once.. ever been an dork to another user (.. I will be sarcastic.. at times.. but honestly.. when I do that.. it's with the hopes and intentions that the person I am being sarcastic to.. gets the joke and can deal with a bit of fun..)

and those that have been dorks that to me.. I cant tell you any names.. however I can tell you a shizzle load of folks here I think help this board over those that harm the board..

the one's who come here to be dorks are still gonna show up..

as are those who are here to help the others.. or just have fun.. there is way too much hostility in this world yet some how we end up taking this to a place that was set up to share..

my 2 cents.. on this issue..

(summary.. if you want this place to be decent.. You can start that... ) yeah kinda Gandhi like. but.. it's applicable

I don't even remember what I came here for but it's nice to be able to share with you guys as I can't really do that from my area. People aren't so friendly lol.

My once exciting and adventurous life has taken a turn to one with much more responsibility. So it's like you guys are a secret dysfunctional family of mine that I get to live vicariously through. Also I can say some things here I cannot get away with anymore in real life!
I generally like most of you, and there are some very helpful gardeners on here.

Oh and I'm adding SanDeigo Jack to the list of people I want to smoke with. He was a cool helpful old guy.

I come here to meet my sweety . Plus all the cool ass people. This is the only forum I feel at home at.I enjoy everyone ( except Finnshaaagty). I cant be to open about any thing. I live in one of the worse states for growing so I dont grow. But I learn . Now you pick what you want to believe. Im going back to the pool for a dip

Really good idea 420God. I came here from an other board that let antisemitic and racial comments pass without stopping it. I was looking for help growing and I have staid because of the people. I think referring to us as a dysfunctional family was great. This is where I do my socializing now. The people here have been so nice that I've been learning how this thing I'm typing on works so I can be apart of this great group of people.
