In the midst of oil spills, corruption, and money ruling the world when money itself is created out of thin air, how do you guys keep going? What keeps you striving for a better life? What keeps you guys striving for anything? I'm sorry but it seems the people with all the power are the people who least deserve it. For fucks sake wtf is wrong with this fucking world. Sorry but I know people feel the same way I do. i'm just so fucking sick and tired of how things are.

Shit man! Great thread!

What keeps me going?

I guess the hope that some day I'll make some kind of difference. And never let this shit envelope me personally. I never want to have greed control my life, one day my ultimate dream is to live completely independently.

Can't wait to hear other responses!

were all sick and tired of that crap but I look at the nice things in life oxygen , trees and how theres abig percentage of the world doing their part:) like fostering a child or the people who go to thrid world countries and do their best to help , another thing that helps me going is how foruntae I am to live in Canada and get free health care, a family who loves me and of course my pets:) haha I like to look at things from a positive point of view and although I dont agree with alot that is happening I try to do my part to be a good human being such as helping the old lady to cross the street or the lady whos ina rush and dropped something ect .

nothing keeps me going other than the fact there isn't an easily accessible off switch. if i have food and i have smoke then i am content. i would certainly enjoy a new Audi or a bigger house or a yacht or a trophy wife, but i can happily make do without. i don't like the way society functions, as said, in the way that life evolves around money and becoming richer. why should i strive for riches and greatness when i happy as is. this is of course always to great frustration from my parents who are of the generation that believes the whole school, uni, wpork hard, have children, live on a pension. they can't understand why i am not throwing myself into a university so that i can run a shipping company or be an entrepreneur. i tell them i'd like to have a rifle and a patch of land on which i can grow my own food and cannabis and such, they tell me i'm being daft and the world doesn't work like that. why!

What keeps me going is hopefully I will be alive long enough to witness real change with the balance of power shifting to the people...

I also keep going for my two sons... I'd like them to grow up in a world that's better than this one...

cannabis keeps me going . . . . the prospects of breeing new cannabis, and etc.

one day I want to be doing research in academia at some university in a good spot . . . . I don't need much . . . just bud, food, a house, and constant intellectual stimulation.

I try to appreciate the little things in life as much as possible. For example if a song I like is on the radio I usually just enjoy it and it makes me happy, or if I get a surprisingly good soda at a store I'll just really enjoy it. I've gone through the most shit I've ever been through this year and at sometimes I was to moves away from ending my life, but luckily for me I'm naturally pretty rational and I had a bigger support system then I could ever dream for, so I made it through and now I have a new look on life and also I've learned to live quite well. I know it sounds corny, but really appreciating the small things makes life extremely rewarding.

drug dealers must be in blacked out 4x4's for big deals :) rule of thumb

that is my point though, "all this money and i can't spend it" you state that " if we keep doin these grow ops in a few years well all be able to afford that dream and thensome"

you contradict yourself. your dream, which you plan to achieve by growing and selling, requires a lot of money that you can't officially exist. if you were to buy a nice house for your wife and kids, HMRC would look at your history, see that you have not paid nearly enough tax to be able to explain how you have so much money, they will investigate and you will get busted. you will either be able to explain it away as illegal tax evasion, or you will be able to explain that you get your money thorugh illegal means. either way will most likely result in loss of the house.

What keeps me going? Well, for starters, I have a lovely wife that has been my best friend for over 16 years now. I have the sweetest, most obedient dog I've ever seen. I currently work from home, which allows me lots of time for my favorite hobby. :weed: My health and fitness are getting better and better all the time. I don't have a lot of friends anymore, but the ones I do have are very cool people who would do just about anything for me and I for them. There's other stuff, but that's some of the most important.

I spent the last 20+ years working a 9 to 5 job so someone else could profit from my hard work only to be kicked to the curb due to a "downturn in the economy". But I have a lovely wife of 22 years a great kid and two stupid dogs. The only thing that keeps me going is in one year i will move onto my 23 acre farm in the hills and start a new life. No Electricity, No Phone, No People, just me and the trees:wink:. Should have done it 15 years ago.

worm- no electricity, no phone, no people I wouldn't go that far personally, I love the idea of being self sufficient, but I don't want to lose technology with that. My idea of a good life, would be to have that 23 acre farm, and throw done some solar panels, to mitigate the cost of bills

I do have a generator and plan on going solar eventually, I can't live without microwave popcorn.......lol. nearest electricity is 15 miles away so that is not an option. I get cellular service on the top of a hill 4 miles away, so if i need to call it's not too far away. My ultimate plan is to be able to grow enough to rent an apartment or something in the winter months when it's nasty cold. Another is to ride motorcycles across Mexico and visit the in-laws..but that is just a dream....

I think being able to save up just for your own farm would be quality, because in summer you can grow bud and actual crops for food, maybe a chicken coop, a milk cow or two, a few horses for transportation around the farm, it would be great and higher some labor, if you by yourself, which I'm guessing you won't be but maybe an extra room or something and you could rent it, then I'd go find me a spot in somewhere near the middle of my property, and I would build like a bomb shelter but to grow in, on top grow during the summer, and I would probably set it up so I have a tank and I could pump the water up and water the plants above. Be a shit ton of work, and also look kind of sketch, but I'd put it close enough to my house to say it is a tornado shelter, I always planned on moving near where my great-grandparents farmed in Lyndon, Kansas, real small town but right in Tornado Alley :)

You can do what ever you desire. Land is still cheap if you look around. My monthly payment is $225.00 for my own little utopia. I got a camper/trailer for free from Craigslist and towed it up there for shelter and a free shed to lock up the dirt bikes. Still lots of work to do before the wife will agree to move permanently.

You got 2 have some shrooms to go with that microwave popcorn lol but I've heard from alot of ppl that they are happy going solar. I think cycling to Mexico is f***en cool, imagine going 200 mph on an empty road stoned - that's a feeling other things can't give you.

I'm actually trying to really get into the habit of studying right now(studying w/ MJ helps profoundly-in my experience) because it's my first year in college but my dream is to get a scholarship to the University of Amsterdam med-school and start a life there where I can be around what I love, do what I love (getting high) and be around people who are accepting of that. I want to wake up in the morning , toke, and just watch life pass by (preferrably infront of a river or nice scenery) and wherever I go I wana be getting high just to get high and not worry if a cop or somebody is gonna freak out and harrass me.
