what kind of def? newbie needs help! pics inside

what kind of def? ive tried searching for some info on the net but i cant quite pinpoint what it is
2 weeks ago it really looked like manganese def, i gave 1/4 dose of organic nutes[yea newbie mistake and i dont have local sources of micronutes but the one i gave has] and now it seemed to recover somehow but still im left with this
it seems to grow tall and lanky compared to my other plants w/c are quite bushy
its 1 mo old now under 400wMH, soiless medium, 3 gal pot, i added some perlite on top of the soil, temps are 25-28deg, 60-70%rh
i water every 4-5 days i make sure i dont under/overwater

Those are very small plants for a one month veg. I use DynaGro in veg., for all my soil less media and hydro.

I also run my veg tent above 80F.

if that's not a PH issue then they just got nutes too soon. nute burnt tips

seedlings can spend the first couple weeks of their life in a nutrient free medium

i see but it started before i gave it nutes, i figured might as well give it nutes along with the others w/c were craving for N :sad:

if you truly used a soil-less mix, i suggest some supplements like K-L-N or superthrive. or go gather some fresh stream water or use aquarium water. there are many nutrients a plant needs which don't come in tap water or traditional fertilizer

for instance, you yourself require chromium and mercury to survive. your plants need mercury too. and lead, etc. superthrive provides B vitamins and heavy metals like that

I have never used superthrive and my plants live...it isn't some magical serum that all plants need...a lot of things made for growing are just the same things remixed and relabeled...nothing is really all that different than anything else...
To me the plant looks really good. I wouldn't worry too much about a little leaf tip color loss. If it gets worse then worry about it. I would say that it probably was just a tiny bit of burn...they look a little behind for a month, but it will get better as you go...overwatering, and underwatering are really easy to do until you get the hang of things, and then there is feeding--over and under, also easy to do til you get it all figured out. It looks like whatever nutes were used may have been just one smidge too much, but if it never gets any worse than this right here then you can consider yourself a success.

And remember to water only when the pot gets light...doesn't matter if the whole top of the soil is dry like the desert, if the pot has some heft to it when you pick it up, then put it back down and leave it another day..only water once the pot feels light enough to be nearly empty...

thanks!!! i do that too bro lifting pots to check if it needs watering and im quite getting the hang of it the others look ok but this one i really dont know so i posted to clarify :-P
