Or a few days later if they still have mail in ballots to count?

So let's review the 21st century to date, stats from Wikopedia. I believe the vote numbers look accurate, not sure about turn out % on top of each. (I think I've see different turnout percentages elsewhere maybe.)

20201009_215924.jpg20201009_220019.jpg20201009_220149.jpg20201009_220127.jpg20201009_220051.jpg

So the popular vote record is Obama's 69.5 million in 2008, winning with a 9.5 million spread.

With the obvious anti-Trump sentiment driving a record turn out, and percentage of Trump defections since 2016, it looks like Biden can exceed 70 million with Trump missing his 62.9 million from last time.

Biden also has 290 electoral votes leaning his way beyond the margin of error. If he gets Florida, Ohio or any of 6 swing states it's over with 300+.

I see it similar to this:
75.5 million Biden 52.8% (approx. 330 electoral and a 9.1% margin)
62.5 million Trump 43.7%

10 - 12 million more voters compared to 2016 and the 7th time out of the last 8 elections the Democrats win the popular vote.

Predictions, projections, stats and theories?

It's starting to look really good. Wife and I have been volunteering to stuff ballot envelopes because the county still has 17,000 more mail in ballots to deliver. There were 47,000 votes here for president in 2016. I could see 160 million votes (probably optimistic) but about 85% of them mean fuck-all. The only thing that matters are the few that are close. The rest of you can go suck eggs thanks to the ridiculous electoral college.

I'll go high end and say 17 million more in turnout than 2016, 400+ ECVs for Biden if he gets Texas too, senate majority with perhaps a few seats to spare..

In the county the city of Austin TX is located in voter registration is 97%! There are a large percentage of new registrations too and changed voting rules. So I expect bigly turnout.

I think it's going to be the most lopsided election in living memory.

If Trump gets 200 electoral votes I'll be surprised.

I really hope you are right. I still worry about the voter suppression campaigns, but am hopeful that the Democrats have a lot of pathways to victory, but so many of them seem to be in states that house large communities the Russian military has been attacking to get Trump re-elected.

And he just shirked off all the scandals from two weeks ago with his Covid con.

But hillary...
The other day I heard him crying about how Clinton wanted to push the link between Trump and Russia hack on her emails. Like it was some conspiracy against him.

And Wikileaks just happens to be the ones who smuggled Snowden and his NSA files to Putin to use against our citizens.

I expect fellow voters like myself to blamed for "stealing the vote" of whoever loses :/ Excited to see who that is though.

Luckily, Jo Jorgensen looks like she is going to reach the 5% amount needed to get some of those matched tax dollars for the next presidential campaign. Crazy that they cancel debates and yet still hold them so each candidate can have his own time on the screen, and yet do not invite the other candidates that are on all the ballots with them. Hopefully the percentage of votes she "steals" is great enough that the duopoly has to try even harder in 4 years to shut them out. Funny how the support she has, has been gathered through the use of memes and social media, without the help of mainstream media and debates. Social media changed the world.
