What kind of water?

What is the best water for the plants?

If you wanted the best I would say distilled water because it doesn't contain anything other than water. You can add whatever nutrients you want to for the plant. Personally, I wouldn't want to pay for all that distilled water or lug it about though.
 
thats why i say RO water...has zero EC....and is ready and available at the tap..just turn it on..and its purer than rain water....you do have to add calmag though...
 
I have to add cal mag. Great! Lol, i looking into my firt ro machine. Another thing to add. My tapwater is insanely bad and i got a frealing hernia lugging that 5 gallon bottle around
 
i use tap water but where i live tap water ppm is like 21 and ph is neutral so i figure its fine and ive been useing it for a few years now and yes growing pot is easy
 
You have to watch that spring water you buy in the store - it doesn't always come from a good source. I thought about buying an RO setup - saw a 7-stage on ebay for a pretty good price, but I've also been debating a nice commercial distiller (around $500).

lol please explain these abreviations! RO water? EC water? PPM? what if i used smart water or FIJI water? will they effect my plant better since they have added electolytes and what not in them? and also... DontKnowBeans, what else am i supposed to do, steal the water? i live in an area with chlorine water, i cant give my plants chlorine water, and i dont trust letting it sit and evaporate either.
 
wow! i bet it would be cheaper to buy weed than to grow it using Fiji water. thats crazy talk! i personaly use 24-hr tap water, thats tap water left to outgas the clorine overnight
