What kind of yield to expect on 4 plants??????

i know lights have a lot to do with it but im curious to see what people are getting off cfl's, 400 hps, 600 hps and 1000 hps? please leave pics and what lights....Im on my first grow and want to know if what i pull is good or not... I hear people saying 3 to 5 zips a plant is a decent grow.

My friend grows with the 400s and he get around 4 zips depending on how long he vegs.

I grow with CFL's and get about an oz a plant and I grow three plants at a time.

i used a 400w hps and got roughly 2 zips a plant with a 30 day veg. not to mention they were sativa dominant

Theres a lot of factors in your question. Do you plan on scrog, pinching, croping, training of any kind. I would suggest searching your strain and setup here at RIU and read through everyones journals and see what they are using what kind of training, nutes, etc. After doing this it will help you decide what you can get and what kind of growing you wanna do!! 3 ft x 3 ft x 6 ft box, scrog, Botanicare PBP nutes, under 400w mh for 9 weeks veg, 400w hps for 9 weeks flower, for 3 Grapefruit, 7.5 ounces cured.

A gram per watt is doing great, half a gram is still doing good.

if i pull half a gram a watt ill be happy

people like to stress wattage but in reality veg time and training play just as big if not more pivotal roles in the end yield. and don't get root bound! if you're root bound then your plant is not reaching it's potential. it could use a bigger pot and lay down a larger root mass which will boost yields.

So definitely not trying to jack this thread but I think my questions pretty on topic and would be helpful to the OP also... Does anyone have a educated guess on what I might yield with these two plants? Heres some info:

Lights: 400 watt HPS/MS cool tube
Plants: two 707 Headband Clones
Nutes: Organic BioGrow, BioBloom, and Neptunes Harvest
Soil: 3 gallons of FFOF each
Veg: February 2nd - March 8th
Flower: March 9th - May 11th (9 weeks)

My goal is a half pound (8 ounces), I realize thats probably a little high but a guys got to dream haha so what do you guys think I might yield when I harvest in like 5 and a half weeks?

im getting about a zip and a half on a 400 hps 12/12 from seed

I have seen a guy get 8 to 10 oz. from a 250 watt scrog grow many times, so your goal is reasonable Naturalist. If you have the buds evenly spread out over a 2x2' area that will be enough and a little more would be better.

An acquaintance of mine recently grew out 5 SensiSeeds Big Bud in BioBiz All-Mix, veg 4/flower 9 under T5/600w HPS in a 4x4 tent with BioBiz BioGrow+Bloom and Dutch Pro Explode + Co2 + A/C Unit. He jarred 19oz and wont shut up about it. I'll be trying it out myself soon enough.

lol i feel you on that. i had a buddy pull something retarted to and he wont shut up either. I got a 5x5x7 under a 1000 right now with 4 girls i got some fat buds going on hope i pull 16...
