What LED grow panel for one plant?

Cheap + Big yield + "I was told" = really bad idea.

Would you buy a cheap condom i told you was good?

Would you bungee with a cheap rope i told you was good?

Would you race a car with a helmet i told you was good?

If you answer yes to any of these you need to come to my garage sale. Everything is pristine.

*Actual answer to not sound like a complete ass. A 400w mars II or galaxy hydro ACTUALLY work and have been tested. Many others also, but those two i have experience with. However bigger yield, negative.

So I was told the led will give you a better yield for the same electricity if so what would be the cheapest I would get a led panel for just one plant
bro do some research in the led section. there are a few threads with loads of info. There is also a thread exposing twilight led as a fraud.

You can save energy and improve yield but not with a cheap lamp.

I was about to say, twilight is a LED "salesman". Lol.. so try to get info from well known users, also, older threads with ALOT of replies usually have some good discussion. Non the less i wish you the best! And KISS!

all I grabbed my self was a cheep 140w ufo prb puts out 90w the I tossed in 12 CFL 2700k I would of just gone 12 CFL but figured id give it a lil boost been in their I think they stink more now had to put a scrubber my the
theory is if ppl are using one or the other I. Small grows the add both shuld do just as good if not better its been a good 18 years since I've grown so things have changed ie was no led back then 125cfl was it for options

It's a very simple calculation of time/money/profit.

You dont need any more power if you have no growing technique. You could grow a x mas tree with a 1000w hps and yield an oz. With the 400w hps i have, im looking at 400gr dry. Why? Advanced growing techniques. SOG-SCROG etc.

Dont over power a setup that cant use all its potential. Youll gain ALOT more yield in lst and canopy work or scrog then any led or HPS. my two cents. But that ufo is great for veg man. Ill give leds that.

Correct A Mundo My Brother. All The Cheap E-Bay Lights Like The Mars II And Galaxy Will Work For Growing Our Beloved Flower. Now With That Said They Are Old Tech With No Lens,Look For Leds That Use Lens.

iwas just going to go CFL nthe ufo is apollow horticulture. So imfigured give it a shot. Cut a lil heat out instead of popping in. Pile more cf

ive notice the cheep panels 180w is not 180 And go by the actual listed watt consuption not the listed watts as ive notice have seen alot discuss

So a 180w ufo/panel good ones will draw close to
but sum cheep one will list 180 but the draw is 100w. 110w. 150w. Thats what i went by My ufo will go veg once thing get flowing and i save for a gooood. Panel for flowering.

Does Any one got info. On herifi leds see them in toronto but no info in forums on them or another one is limilus lumigrow

Lens is right to you! Many people say COB. Circuit on board. Every led is cob post 2000. That year is not a fact but their all cob. The bad ass ones have wicked and properly engineered lenses = Cost. Note *Functional Lens, not just a protective glass bubble. It makes it look like they have 4-6 big leds. ... People call those cob. Anyways, solar storm SEEM to have some nice stuff.

Just don't get sucked into china selling COB!!!!

Another good point, is i would never order or buy something from someone or a business without a number on their website.... lol.

Like Twilight for example. Terrible company. If not fraudulent as someone noted.

ILike the trash can idea Better than rona plastic space buckets. if its strait silve no need to add reflective you could even take polish to it mirror it up ive decide my new closed will be 150w hps And 1 ufo 145w. N scrog. I got room for 2x150 2xufo For the future i got length and hight Not as wide as id like If i still need sum spot lighting ive got 4 Clamp lights with 2 23w 2700k. Noma cfl dont use noma daylights. They glow all night long. After being on all day screws with dark cycle Pissed me right off

Chip on Board, not circuit.....there are at least three technical ways to describe a chip on board layout...good ones have an actual datasheet.....
