Thanx man. Those lights are worth every penny as I said before, BUT I should mention that I finally did have a problem with Meijiu...

I already have four Meijius burning....(3 F8 plus and 1 A8) Decided to buy two more to cover another 5x10 space.

I placed the order in May and the sales lady talked me into sea freight this time. Saved like 300 but it could take up to 38 business days...(She says.)

Anyways... here it is mid September and still no lights.

I have messaged her regularly but as soon as there was a problem, she started acting like she didn't speak or understand English...lol

When I expressed my frustration, she said that my lights are stuck on a boat in a harbor in California waiting for space in a warehouse.

First she blamed customs, then she blamed UPS, then Covid, then she blamed....ME! lol She said I probably shouldn't have went with the sea freight during a pandemic...lol (She literally talked me into that shipping method!) She finally wrote and said its like a a traffic jam..no one can be blamed.

So I went to Alibaba and asked for a refund. They denied my request. Said because the lights are still in limbo they cant issue a refund. They said no refund because I didn't prove to them that Meijiu promised to have the lights to me in 38 business days. All I have is a message from their message center where she says that. I sent it to them. They promptly started acting like they didn't speak or understand English...lol

Now let me say this... I am a medical marijuana caregiver/grower. People are depending on me for their medicine. I planned ahead and upgraded the veg room for those lights. Then had plants ready for when they should have been here.

Because they are not here, I had to cull the plants. Simply no space.

I also took on another patient with the expectations that the lights would be up and producing by now. So the bottom line is I have lost thousands of dollars because of the "traffic jam". And people went without promised meds. They have offered no compensation of any kind as of yet. We will see.

After saying all that I am still not angry. They are good lights for a fair price. (If you can get em to ya.) Great lights, HORRIBLE customer service.

Just beware, shit could happen. If it does your basically S.O.L. Risky, and to be honest this little experience has scared me off... I wont be doing business with Meijiu or Alibaba any longer. But I am happy with what I got.

(Thinking of going with Fluence for my next lights.)
I love pictures of opened up tents. Mine are basically surrounded by walls except for the front side. It must be nice to be able to work from the backside, and to have a different angle for pictures and just admiring.

There is currently a shortage of shipping containers. We are having issues sourcing materials at work as well. Gona be a long wait now things are stacking up fast. Definitely never choose freight shipping on anything they Bang your pkgs around move them a million times on a million conveyors pack them into small spaces etc. If you get a pkg lost or broken it's because of freight shipping.
See I shipped my F8’s by boat, that was before COVID was a thing and I got them in 29 days to my door. Times have changed since unfortunately

I ordered a pair of F8s from them a day before some 3 day Chinese holiday. They said it would take 10 to 14 days to get the lights to me(SoCal). After about 12 days, I decided to check tracking and realized nothing had happened yet. Contacted customer service - they completely dropped the ball and forgot to ship them to me. It took a month to get my lights.

When I needed a pair of 320 boards, I decided to go with Kingbrite instead. Lights were here in about a week.

Months after my purchase, Meiju accidentally sent me a pair of 240 watt 301h boards. The owner frantically called me before the lights even arrived, but he spoke such little English, that I couldn't even discern what he was trying to tell me. A week after that call, the 240s showed up. At first i was like wtf, but then realized what had happened. Free lights! A buddy of mine was wanting to set up a small tent, so he bought them off me for $300.

Ya with shutdowns, border restrictions etc it's really put a wrench in the gears of shipping. It's hard to get things here sometimes waiting for extended periods of time if arriving at all. Had a few things freight shipped from China from Amazon get lost in the mail too. Bs

Madness!! I do know through covid we all also had that freight carrier stuck in one of the cause ways, include covid and the back log freight goods by sea was one of the chains massively effected.. all said n done i’ve never wanted to order from alibaba.. maybe never wanted to are wrong words as i did but was more a trust issue with suppliers and them being on other side of the world, ( i’m in UK btw ) the miijuis for these reasons and likely hood they will be over seas shipping will have to be forgotten about for now, i might just add another HGL to set up! Anyways man hope you work things out as you have others there depending on you, respect for what you do mind and keeping people fed when they need it most!
