2 foot 4 bulb ho t5 89 watts 8000 lumens 6400 k bulbs
fox farm ocean forest
lights 24 7 for veg
temps stay between 78 and 84 humidity is between 40% and 50%
2 foot x 4 foot silver edition tent
blue dream clones started june 19, 2010

i transplanted from 1 gallon pots to 3 gallon pots last night they look good for a transplant to me

i have a few questions when should i put on 12/12? i was thinking friday or sat
i need to buy a larger light to flower with and i cant decide to get the 4 foot 4 bulb light 216 w 20000 lumens $149.95 or the 4 foot 6 bulb 324 w 30000 lumens dual switch so you can run only half the lights if you like and cut the watts in half and the lumens also $194.95. which one would you get? and how much more electricity will the 6 tube use ove the 4 tube? and will it cause the heat to rise in the tent alot? i think the 6 bulb might be overkill though also what do you guys think? i want to buy the light after work tommorrow at my local hydro store. and electricuty is an issue so i cant use hps or mh at this time.

Floros are nice. They really are. Up until a few years ago they were the only way to grow indoors... Well. The fact is. 30000 lumens wll surely produce bud, but it wont bevery massy. Say you have two grow rooms side by side. Same everything except light sources. Both grows produce a bud the size of a coke can. You get an ounce with an HPS as where you MIGHT get a half ounce with the floros. If you can afford it (obviously you can), and if your temperatures work out, please please please go with a HID setup. If not, go with 60000+ lumens for an unltimate grow. In my area, 400W ran all day for 30 days costs about 20 extra bucks.\ on your light bill.

Agreed! HID lights are the industry standard right now. A 400w HPS system or a 600w HPS system will be your best bet. Both of them run about the same prices as you listed.

Here are some auctions from HTGsupply These guys are awesome and sell quality products. Have a look see.

I veg with a T5 2 foot 6 bulb 6500k light fixture then I flower with a 600w HPS light.

Peace and positive energy to you

i will think about getting that light. will it make my temps go up drastically?
both the 400w and the 600w will need to be cooled. As you know were are in the hot summer months and I am combating a heat build up problem that I did not have to deal with during the winter and spring.
