what lights should i use? and where can i buy them?

I want to grow under cfl's for the efficiency and heat, im a little concerned about the flowering period, do you guys think adding an hps at flowering is worth the extra heat? let me know what you guys would suggest for a small 4x2.5 ft area.

2.5ft height? naw dont even do it.. unless you gonna be able to get a inline fan and duct from the light

If not..
you would have to use a good amt of cfls

sorry that lenghtxwidth the closet is almost 7 ft tall i got lots of space to raise lights...help me out Mane!!

i am using a 600 watt in a space that size. just get alot of ventalation i run at around 80 degree during day and 70 at night. The systems does yeild alot though because of how much light in a small space. also smell will be a problem. with a small space the stink goes up or at least it seems that way to me.

I'd do the first grow and get a good temp and humidity gauge. Keep close eye on your temps and play around with the season you grow in. In winter I do my 12/12 at night to utilize the lamps for warmth and in the day the house takes care of the temps. If you find room to play with temp wise move up to a higher power lamp. Just my sugg..

Sorry, man I hate double post people but I forget to say do your first grow with CFL's. Excuse me while I whip myself with a wet noodle.

ya man an hps is totally worth it for flower it will pay for its self 10 times over. just make sure u have good ventilation. intake on the ground portion out take on the top. find the volume of your room and that will tell you what cfm you need to keep air moving. or if u wanna make a cooltube that make and hps very effective
