I have chronic pain. Herniated disks in the cervical spine. Degenerative disk disease. I have constant head aches and migraines. I take anti inflammatory drugs. Immitrex for migraines and well codiene or tylenol 1. I am miserable and can't do much without the fear of being sick next day because of the pain. I just started growing and right now it's trial by error. Purchased a clone and going from here. It is some strain of 'brain'. I have cloned her as well. I need some advise on what would oe could help me. Considering my GP is not a guy that will prescribe me anything stronger or better than the anti inflammatory drugs. Idiot.

Hey there, so I can speak of what has worked for me, as we have some of the same issues. I have had two fusions, due to a collapsed disc and the second was to fix the other disc's that were herniated. I also have had migraine's all my life and until now have been on all the different migraine meds, the only one I really liked is called Frova. It was one that you took when you get a migraine coming on and it helped me the most. I have found Death Star to be great for pain relieve and migraines. I have tried vaping a lot of different strains for migraine's and then found d-star. I make coconut oil extracted capsule's with d-star and have them in my fridge. Had a migraine last week all day, nothing worked (I don't take any prescriptions anymore for migraines) so I took one capsule at 6 went to bed and woke up with no migraine! Of course I had that migraine fog, which happens the next day.

If you can stay away from the pain meds, you will be better off. In my opinion, they are shit!! They eventually rob you and leave you more worse off than you were and going through withdrawals suck. Try sticking with Indica's or indica dominant hybrids, that has worked for me. Good luck and keep trying different strains until you find one that works for you, everyone is different and reacts to strains differently. Sorry your in pain, have you tried edibles? Definitely get more bang for the buck with those, longer lasting and stronger relief. I mostly do edibles and some vaping here and there.

I have similar injuries and find a cannabis-based arthritis cream helps me between bouts.

I have the same problem minus the migraines I have no disk left in my lower back and they will not operate I no longer take their pills not worth the side affects they had me on 12 percs a day. I find the kush strains work best for me and no more pills which means I can have a life it does not take away all the pain but I can tolerate it now.

I have never tried shrooms. I am willing to try anything. I work full time so I have to be able to do my job. I throw up with the migraines when they're bad. Go back to my desk and finish my day. Did surgery help Raeofsun13? Nobody seems to believe it can be that bad. A lot of my reason for going to this Site and route is I need help with this pain.

well to make a long story short, the second surgery seemed to do the trick and marijuana. I am down to one medication for my neck compared to 10+ I was on before the surgery. The migraine's have gotten better with regular use of cannabis, they were horrible before surgery. I think I was getting about 6 migraine's a month, all bad enough that I would throw up and be in bed for a couple days.

Haha. I work in an extremely toxic environment. Shrooms may be just what I need to get through a day. They are freaks.

I probably get that many too. Then the dull headaches are constant.

Pain is not fun...I live with it also and I can say that vaping and smoking does didily squat! Ingesting daily doses and slowly increasing my tolerance has gotten me to a point where the pain is much more manageable. I now ingest 1 gram of honey oil in capsule form and almost a dozen of capsules filled with crushed bud daily. Its been a year now since I started and I am in a much better position now. The drawback...I don't get high anymore!

But at least your not in pain! I think ingesting is the way to go for pain relief! It is my main way of consuming.

What kind of movement are you capable of with fushions. Are you able to work? Can I ask your age and how you injured yourself. Cause I don't even really know how I did this. The easiest tasks are the most difficult. Like if I have to get something from under a bed or simply talking to someone who is sitting on my right.

Well my ROM is pretty good, I can turn side to side with no issue. The harder one for me is looking up and down, they exported me to loose 10% of my ROM that direction. I am not currently worked except at being a care giver for others in need of cannabis. That keeps me plenty busy with the grow, which is a good thing. My last surgery date was 09/27/12, two levels. Got off my pain meds within four weeks and have been using cannabis as my med. I know I could not got bak to my previous line of work as it was 90% computer based with lots of data entry. That bothers my arms still to this day, I can do some computer worker he and there but not a lot. Since I lost my career I have been trying to figure out what I want to do when I grow up, lol. For now, I am in a unique position to be able to focus on the grow and helping others medicate with cannabis for all their ailments. When things were at their worst, my disc had collapsed, I could not due much due to the issues I have in my arms with my nerves. Everyday tasks became impossible, like trying to button shirts, dry my hair (hold the hair dryer), cooking, driving, etc. I originally ruptured the disc at a job where I had to restrain behavior problem children. I live with that for 12 years, opted not to have surgery. Kinda stupid looking back as I had spinal chord compression. Anyway, then in 2010 as I was leaving work, I feel head first down the stairs leaving the building, didn't hit my head or anything, walked away with two broken toes. However after that all the nerve problems started in my arms and the pain eventually made me go on short term disability, eventually forced me to leave my employment. I tried everything, trigger point injections, spinal adjustments, deep tissue massage, acupuncture and finally cervical epidural which gave me about 2 months of reduced pain, then it came back and that is when I couldn't take it anymore and did a one level fusion at the disc that was collapsed. I had a good surgeon, just conservative and he recommended the one level fusion even thought I had building disc's already at the level above and below the collapsed one. The first surgery was partially successful as it reduced my pain and I was doing pretty good then fell on the ice about 6 months after surgery. It was then the pain continued in the same pattern as before, I was till on pain meds, so a lot of the pain was masked. When I came off the meds, it was then I realized something was not right. Too much pain and the same pattern as before, my surgeon pushed that aside and sent me to pt, did that for 6 months, no changes. So at my year sfollowup he asked me my thoughts on the pain, I said it was a disc. He ordered An MRI and that is when I found out the other two disc's had already moved and I had an annular tear. Also tested positive for spinal chord compression, so the second surgery was scheduled. Thing's are so much better now, I am not in severe pain or really chronic pain anymore. I still have to watch how many activities I can do in a day that involve a lot of arm stuff. They say the nerves can take up to two years to recover and grown. So I am hopeful, however, given the chronic and severity of my issues, I have been told I will always have problems. So just got to be smarter on how I am doing things and watch my posture and how I am holding myself. If I do to much now, I might need to take it easy the following day, whereas before I would be down for several. Hope that helps, everyone is different, just try to trust what your body is telling you. If it hurts stop or don't do that, I know easier to say than do.

IMG_00000182.jpgWow. What you describe is not dissimilar to me. Hate drying my hair as it hurts and will start the day rolling. I too work on a computer almost all day and the phones I cannot stand. Constant nagging pain. Can't look up or down too long and the work people don't get it. I am miserable. At best. It sounds like the medical mj route is a good thing. Maybe I will have to learn to capsulize etc. Legal or not. I have no medical benefits at work. No disability long or short term. It's sad after working 30 years I am reduced to this. At least you can enjoy what you do right. Wearing a collar seems to alleviate the pressure. I too have tried massage, acupuncture. No nerve blockers yet. I guess I should look into getting an mj card. Thanks for the info when this first started I thought I was crazy. Or going coocoo.
Do you think this baby girl is ready to top. Keeping in mind I'd like to root the top.

Looks ok to top to me, depends who you ask, there are 100000 ways to do everything with this field. Are you not in Canada? I thought it was legal there or at least medical, also along the same lines, don't Canadians have free health care? So funny when you said the collar helps, before my second surgery, I went back to wearing my hard collar I got after surgery and it was the most helpful. Also the phones where the worst when I worked, if you don't have a headset for work, please get one! It makes a world of difference. Well if you have further questions or whatever feel free to PM me.
