What next?

Hey looking for advice and info,I have been growing for a couple years now my rooms are pretty well established.I have learned a lot in the years I have used many different lines of nutrients Advanced, Dyno, Roots Organic, B.C but I am not really fond of any of them. I want a more full line something that really dose fatten the buds up and make them poor with resin I do have some really good strains but i want to take it to the next level i don't mind mixing so don't hold back lol I was thinking of trying either CYCOS or botanicare full line anyone have anything to say about these or a better recommendation? Please and Thanks!

contrary what nute companies want you to think, fertilizers merely give plants what they need to grow and flower. Your job with nutes is essentially to feed a plant what it needs without fucking anything up. Not trying to shit on your parade, just trying to save you time and money. If you've fed AN, dynagro, and BC without major fuckups, then what's lacking lies either wish your environment or your genetics.

If you want a better finished product your best bet is to get better genetics.

Clown Baby I think your right I just need to try new fresh strains been growing the same 14 strains for well over a year time to move on Mattemil i think my rooms are well established i have ample light and air i am pest and disease free temps and humidity are dead on the only thing i don't run is co2 and it is not really worth it to me so i dont know what your getting at but anyways I don't fall into the hype of nutes but some nutes just straight up work better then others I own a grow store i guess you would say i am part of the hype but with almost any line of nute available to me i like trying new things though i would get some opinions on some other lines and maybe switch over to another line been hearing good things about the cycos know a grower that's using it and having great results that's why i brought that one up

If this is the case with your room being dialed in I would assume you can control temps between 65F-85F?

If so keep your temps during flowering between 70-75F for both day and night.

Strains will be dependant on what you're looking for.

I can recommend DELICIOUS SEEDS FRUITY CHRONIC JUICE for a good 90/10 indica/sativa hybrid that's a white widow cross with a tropical fruit aroma and flavour with a great knock you on your ass stone.


I notice that you haven't tried canna.

I grow in coco, with CANNA AQUA VEGA 6-3-8 the whole way through with added Ca, Mg, silica, PK1314 and CANNA Rhizotonic along with CANNAZYM.

This allows me to have great performing healthy plants. I generally average 4oz per plant with 4 plants under 400w regardless of strain.

I just harvested some CHEESE and netted 439g before curing.

right on the money right here. dosent matter what nutrient you feed the plant can only produce what it is genetically designed to produce. your enviorment is more of a factor than what nutrient lineup you use.

if your not happy with the results like someone else had said its time for the pheno search, if you have been using a nutrient lineup and have been going start to finish without any plant problems i wouldnt go changing shit around. place a nice seed order and grab up a few packs, plant them all and start picking and choosing. get clones, keep your shit nice and organized and take your best yeilding/resin producing genetics and make yourself a mother.....the hunt for great phenotypes never ends. you will find what your looking for eventually but no nutrient is going to change the genetic makeup of the seed you planted.

CO2 is a worthwhile investment for any serious grower, if your not running optimal PPM of CO2 your shorting yourself on yeild. i personally dont run CO2 right now but it is a investment that is coming as soon as i can wrangle up the funds. If you own a grow store then CO2 should be accessible for you. get that rigged up and i gaurentee you will see a noticable difference in growth rate.

the canabis plant has a pre determined flowering length, if your not providing everything you possibly can during these few short weeks then you are shorting yourself on yeild, they only pack on bud for so long then they are done.

thank you both for the info I am going to be changing up my strains to find something closer to what I am looking for might try out the co2 then I have a product i sell called exhale its suppose to release enough co2 in the air for 4-6 plants for 6 months I have never tried it but before i go buying bottles and regulators maybe il give this a shot any of you ever heard of it or used it??

i have heard of it and i have also read some pretty extensive bad reviews. also read some verry vague good reviews. give it a shot cant hurt. right now i use the ole soda bottle and yeast/water/sugar so anything is better than nothing. i want to make the plunge in a pilot system but thats another day when theres and extra dollar.

I used to see a lot of people buying those exhale bags back when i was working at a hydro store. Some people buy one for a little closet grow. Some people would like 6 at a time for their tents.

To be honest it just seems like an upgraded version of fermenting sugarwater to produce your CO2. Still kind of a ghetto, homemade solution, except the cost of bags can add up.
I'd say running a proper exhaust would do you just as well or better than the exhale bags. By proper exhaust I mean somehow expelling old air or bringing new air into the grow room. (not just cycling air through a tent in an enclosed room.)

Again, that's not to say this wont work. But if you really are growing 14 strains and have access to wholesale prices on equipment, just get a CO2 tank, regulator, and quality controller. It'll cost a few hundred, but it'll pay for itself in one or two runs.

Hey weedworm, I agree with the thinking here. Legit enviroment-check, Legit genetics-check, Expensive nutes- nope. Don't fall for all the hype and spend $300+ on a regimen of cool sounding products. I use Bio-bloom, grow, alg a mic. Simple, cheap, quality. You never mentioned medium but hope this helps.
