What nutes is everyone using?

Ok thanks for replies. I might run a GH 3 part dwc next to my usual Canna and see if i can see a difference....
GH is an evil fuckin mega corp and the guy who runs Scott's does not have good intentions for our beloved canna industry. So if you care about preserving the free market you probably should not buy any grow gear that comes from under the Scott's umbrella.

When used correctly any line of properly balanced plant nutrition will give you basically the same results. And Canna definitely has everything your plant needs. You will get a lot more noticeable improvements if you concentrate on nailing your VPD, watering practises and plant training.

everyone hates on advanced nutrients because they are ridiculously over priced!! And yes, I have used it before.

"the minute he switched to Advanced nutrients and Metal Halide lights with UV his end quality skyrocketed." hmmmmmm.
Sounds like he doesn't know how to manage pH without a buffered solution, but I am only guessing.

Masterblend kit.tnc bactor and mycos, and some hesi pk.
I wanted to ask about this silica whats that does it come in powder
Silica is in diatomaceous earth, and you should not handle it dry indoors without a respirator or n95. That shit is terrible for your lungs. I use Dune by Impello bioscience. It's a mono sillilic acid (liquid) that just so happens to bring my PH to the perfect range with 50% strength jacks.

It seems to just make plants hardier overall. I've noticed thicker stems and more vigor. My buddy is doing the same in soil, and he likes it, but its too early to say if it's making s difference

What if you tapped the maple and ran the line directly down into a cannabis plant with another tap, and maybe even a small 1 way pump. I know they can use vacuum to pull more sap from the trees. Like a direct tree to plant blood transfusion? I mean, hasn't the tree sap already been processed to the point that it could be injected right in somehow?

Doesn't the good sap only flow in the winter when it slightly warms up? Probably much too cold outside for the plant during that time, but I guess you could run a line indoors.

Off topic.. would the sap be the ultimate liquid culture base for growing woodloving or whatever kind of mushroom mycelium out in jars? Just boil it down to whatever sugar content you need?

Sap has endless possibilities as all trees produce sap

To each their own, but if you genuinely believe that practice will affect the taste of the final product, you have some reading to do about plant nutrition.

Science is real.
