What on earth is going on here!

Hey lads, recently started growing 2 plants in a wardrobe I've setup, a ladyburn 1974 and a super lemon haze. The temps have been sitting around 25-30°c under a 200w led which I have dimmed down to about 50%. Plenty of moving air with fans but they are doing next to nothing and looking very miserable as u can see in the pics provided. This is them coming up on week 3 also! The lemon haze is also yellowing from the bottom and getting dark spots forming on it. The only thing I have not done granted is PH the water, but could that really cause such an issue at such a young age? They are in solo cups with a "premium soil" from my local hardware store (which is what I'm guessing is the issue here) Also Ill add that the lemon haze also came out of the seed with only 1 cotyledon leaf which was very odd. Any feedback would be great cheers guys.

Id probably try to get them into some dif soil or start over in dif soil. IMHO those aren’t going to recover as is .
Edit: I guess in fairness I should say imho I don’t think I could get them back at that point

That premium soil looks like premium twigs and bark..
Lol dude tell me about it, I'm in New Zealand and i ripped open just about every bag of potting mix I could for a nosey and it was all basically the same, was originally looking for a tomato mix but beleive it or not the 3 stores near me had none. I've ordered some new soil online, wether or not it's 2 late to pull them back will soon find out!

If you are having a hard time sourcing soil locally from stores maybe u can build ur own from the earth around u..
Soil and amendments can be pricey to ship..

Medium is definitely crap, but I’m curious to know how close your light is. I’m a hps and t5 guy and when I went to led this year I was surprised at how powerful they can be, burn the shit out of my mature plants the first week until I found a good balance of dim and height, the uppermost leafs had that same appearance

I've got a friend in NZ. @DavoeNZ Z. He's found a pretty good setup for soil. Hit him up and perhaps he'll share some details. Good luck!

Had the same problems mate, the soil in nz from most places is full twigs and bark. Get some canna terra. Worked well for me last year or so. Costs like $30 or so a 50 litre bag. Way better than the shit from the hardware store.

to add to this - avoid soil from your hardware stores in general (homedepot/lowes/ace). A lot of these places store their bags of soil outside at one point or another and you will be introducing a slew of pests to your grow more likely than not.

I was referencing the major hardware stores like the ones mentioned above. Maybe it's the ones in my state but I've heard from other growers and personally experienced getting unwanted pests in my grow from buying bagged soil from these places. Could have been the time of year, bad batches, who knows, but I wont touch the soil from HD, lowes, or ace again.

Just my personal experience. Take from it what you will.

Awsome bro I'll give it a try, don't think I've seen anywhere near me stock it so I'll have to order online
