What part of growing pot do you like best (other than smoking it)?

It absolutely amazes me that a little tiny seed can become a beautiful pot plant. Nature is an incredible thing to watch, and it took growing pot for me to appreciate it as much as I do now.

I grew up working on fruit farms and the entire seed-to-plant thing just was a given, and I never appreciated the effort it took for all that to happen. Now, after over 40 years later, I sit and stare at my plants 5-10x's a day, watching every change the pot plants make as they grow into something that will give me an amazing buzz months later.

Like all of you, I fuss over my plants like a mother hen. They get water at exactly the right time (this took a bunch of learning on my part), they get nutrients when called for, they get perfect lighting, and if they get sick, I act like it's one of my children with a fever.

My favorite part of this whole process is watching the plants transition from veg to flowering. Seeing the buds start from little popcorn buds to big beautiful buds covered in trich's.

Id have to say the whole part, ...

The first and last week. First week you get to see the plant coming to life and the last week you get handed control of the final product resulting from when you harvest.

Not trimming up for storage. Worst part! I think the best part is watching the buds grow and swell, and taking big whiffs right off the flowers.

I'm sick of growing. If I could get good weed for $15 an ounce I would quit.

I enjoy it as a hobby and the fact it save me +400$ a month (including 100$ spend on growing)

and I enjoy RIU a lot lots of kool people in here, plus a few funny trolls

and I must agree, the trimming part sucks, Im just happy by the fact that I only grow 1-6 plants at the time, would suck to trim a hole field

Yeah......I love the smell of maturing buds. I intentionally get my nose right into the bud so I can continue to smell it after I leave the grow room.

My favourite bit is taking the trim and making bubble, most people seem to think that its a chore but I don't mind it at all.

I think the best part is seeing the different strains in plant form, and the fact that I see them from seed to smoke. I like that I know what it is and from where it came. I never have to deal with "yo kid got this purple haze shits dankkzz." Sure buddy. Specifically, I think the best part is the first buds, the first time they make your fingers sticky. Do I hate chopping them down tho lol....Destroying something beautiful.

Ha funny I'm trying to find creative ways to off load my ish. But never that low I don't think a zip would go lower than 3 crisp bills average.

Mos def have to toke up after and during a trim. Hands cramp up.

Just like everyone else. I love the flowering part just damn sexy.

My favorite parts of growing are the things I learn about nature, science, culture and life; through my grows.

My favorite part is once the roots get all set up and it throws out some leaves and really starts taking off! Those first couple weeks are so slow then it's crazy how fast it can grow.... Shits like a weed

Mine is taking cuttings and nurturing them into a beautiful plant.. An YES, trimming does suck !!
