Oh screw that, I mean if you will put out that much money get a Bluelabs.

I was going to go to myebay and look at the ones I bought but they are gone off there. I hate ebay and I don't know it that well, but I paid 30 for my PH tester and 15 for my 0-9999 PPM tester. They both work great.

get a digital ph and ppm meter for liquid
one that is waterproof and has a replaceable probe
and should be able to tell you the pH range 1-14 and ppm range 1-1999

Eh i was going to get the bluelab, but the combo meter is pretty gay. I do not want to do any math while measuring the PPM. You have to multiply it by the E.C. Instead i went with the milwaukee smart 3-in-1 meter, it reads ph to 1.XX-14.XX only thing the bluelab does better then the milwaukee is reading water temp.

Im in a search of an accurate ph meter too. I have this question about those with replacebale probes. How much a probe last, after how much use i must change it?

Also has same question. Looking for the easiest way (not online) to find these devices. I dont have the availability of a hydro outlet in my area.

I recommend it everytime I see one of these posts because its always been easy to use and calibrate - plus its never let me down. Still on the original batteries from a year ago too!

Hanna 98129 - it isn't cheap, but to me its worth every penny. Especially since watching your pH and TDS is so important in hydro!

Good luck!

I love my Nutradip tri-meter.. Shows me the ph/ppm/rez temp 24/7.. Spendy, 2nd one Ive owned.. Sold the last one and its still working(8 years ago).

You get what you pay for these days, especially when it comes to electronics, not made in China either..Canada :)
