...does your Hanna have a calibration mode? ...what does it read w/ tapwater?

I use >>> http://www.aghydroponics.com/Commercial-Truncheon-BlueLab-p/phmeter-716049.htm
154 PPM
uS or whatever it is starts at 315 then drops like seconds " 314,313,312 ect "

as for the PH it reads 4.00 then I add 6M/L of PH - Up to 1 cup and did NOTHING.

I then checked the PPM and it jumped for 154 to 2000 ????????

I re calibrated the meter also right before I got these measurements

you have to keep the probe wet on those things... maybe it dried out? or perhaps it was a pos when you got it, you know? not necessarily your fault, man...

View attachment 1074953...ec, is the electrical conductivity. The ec, can also be measured in TDS (total desolved solids). Like celsius and fahrenheit, you can get the reading in EC or TDS.

TDS will give the reading in PPM's (parts per million). If your going to use TDS readings , you'll need to know if your meter is @ .5 or .7 conversion.

I use a dipstick,it never needs to be calibrated water proof to 3 meters very durable,it is not digital and only reads down to 100 ppm.but I wanted a meter that didnt need to be calibrated and I like it very easy to use and I think I got it for under a 100 bucks
